Draft at butcher and the boar. Excellent hoppy aroma. Slightly hazy Amber with excellent white lace. Wonderfully balanced IPA. I like it better than the other hop odyssey I've had

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 5/4/2015. Pours slightly hazy orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, herbal, floral, grass, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/pine hops and light-moderate dark/bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, herbal, floral, grass, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Large amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange zest, citrus rind, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity and balance of bright citrus/pine hops and light-moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and resinous sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent IPA. All around great complexity and balance of bright citrus/pine hops and light-moderate dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

[2/16/15] Draught at Cameron’s Inn in Half Moon Bay. Clear deep golden. “Green” hops aroma, kinda dank and leafy. Hoppy flavor, “green”, with pretty strong bitterness and an alcoholic note. Medium-bodied.

Pour on tap, clear orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of pine, grass, some herbal notes into a bit of yeast, slight biscuit, bread in there as well with a hint of citrus. Taste was mix of biscuit, bread, slight citrus, pine, herbal notes into a bit of slight floral notes, finishing fairly bitter, slightly dry.

16oz tap into pint glass. Minneapolis. Pours hazy copper color. Small offwhite head. Aroma is citrus, a little bit of resin. Taste is mostly bitter throughout. Subtle sweetness to balance. Body is medium. A little sharpness to the carbonation. Longer bitter finish. Pretty decent ipa. Not extraordinary, but solid.

Soft and slightly cloudy orange pour with one finger of off white head. Nose is juicy with citrus rind and pine resin at the forefront. Aggressive hop note in the flavor with lots of citrus rind on the finish. Some fruit and resin. Medium light bodied with a gripping bitterness.
