On tap at Bierkraft 8/24/13. Pours an incredibly clear deep gold. Nice fluffy head that dissipates slowly. Aroma of hops, citrus. Taste is hop bitter. Not much else for balance. Taste is very fresh. Good west coast ipa but not amazing ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very bitter hopped. Strong grapefruit rind. Simco aroma. Not very exciting. Thin lasting head. Not lots of flavor other than bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

ACHops (687) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 23, 2013
On tap @ The Dray. Pours pale golden orange with thin white head. Aroma is thin malt, bigger earthy grassy hops dominate. Taste is mild pale malt with a sizable load of hops on the back - big earthy, piney, grassy bitter notes. Lingering bitterness in the finish. They don’t short you on the hops here. Very tasty, but... I’d crank up the malt bill on this and make it a legit DIPA. Certianly have the hops for it, they just overwhelm the malt here.

Tap @ 821. Golden with nice white head and generous lacing. I get perfume and grapefruit and pine and a hint of cat piss- but its a little cold for full aroma. Wheat at first sip, then the hops kick in. nice and bitter with some good hang time. Nice end to a long day.

Draft at wurst place. Pours a crystal clear burnished dark gold with a loose white head. Some mango and orange peel on the nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Toasty caramel with mango and orange showing. Finish goes sooooo dry. Fruit still pops but this is one arid-ass ipa.

Drake (8536) - Free Union, Virginia, USA - AUG 14, 2013
Draft at Whole Foods Market Charlottesville. Pours a clear pale golden color with a thin creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Sticky hop aroma, lots of pine and resin. The taste is very bitter pine and resin hops with some pale malts in there. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness.

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of floral hops, a little pine and some biscuity / crackery malts. Flavour brings out stale wood chips, some floral notes, a bit of pine, and more stale wood. Seems a bit off - as in the aforementioned stale wood quality. Still drinkable and solid, but something doesn’t quite work.
