Commercial Description:
"San Diego-style IPA, as it has come to be known by many, is a super-hoppy, high gravity, yet highly quaffable ale. Green Flash Imperial IPA is created in this new tradition, with intense hop flavors and aromas from a unique blend of Summit and Nugget hops. It’s all about the hops!" -- Brewmaster Chuck Silva

Bottle from IPa tasting at bushwakker. Surprisingly light colored. Fairly hazy orange body. Next to no head. Aromas of very sweet rockets candy and obviously tons of hops. Tons of citrus hops for flavor. Also very sweet. Fairly light bitterness to end which i find odd.

Explodes with hop aroma and flavor. Aroma is flowers. grass, hay, apricot, resinous, honey, and pine. Gold/orange color with nice lacing and perfect carbonation. Very bitter but not over the top, is balanced well by the sweetness. The alcohol is well concealed, with some bready, slightly sour flavor coming through. A very fine example of a west coast style Imperial IPA, always satisfies.

Beer pours out a medium orange color. Its slightly hazy with a very decent foam. Aromas are of typical IPA hops, more hops, tropical fruit, slight citrus, and a caramel malt backbone. Beer tastes slightly sweet at first. Malt presence is prominent on the attack. Hops kick mid palate but are very mellow. This is a tremendously balanced Imperial IPA. It doesn’t push the envelop. It more of an easy drinking style. Really, really good, but it doesn’t show me anything that I haven’t already tried before. Still I would drink this any day.

Nice orange pour with a frothy white head. Aroma has ruby red grapefruit, overripe oranges, wet hay, and dope. Flavor is sweet with a nice citrus flavor and some medium bitterness. Very nice.

Hop aroma, with some honey . Clear golden color. Taste has a nice amount of west coast style hops. A pretty solid double IPA.

1pt, 6oz. bottle, pours a bright orange with a thick buttery head. Powerful aroma of hops, citrus and caramel. HUGE hop flavour. This is an impressive IIPA - one of the best I’ve had.

Bomber. Pours a clear copper color with a frothy bright white head. Head recedes slowly leaving heavy lacing and a small film. Small bubbles race to the surface. Nose is heavy on piney and spicy hop notes with a light biscuit malt note. Flavor is hoppy up front with a light biscuity malt note and a syrupy sugar note. Palate is full and syrupy with a freshness and a sticky layer on the tongue. something is missing though, at first I thought the body was weak..but its really not. maybe its just a little off balance, but it does seem kinda level. Cant put my finger on it.
