Somewhere between the west coast and the green bullet this one lost me a little. The arome was citrus zest with some pine, but nothing like the west coast IPA bouquet. The flavor is what just doesnít do it for me. I really donít like the hop flavor but donít know how to describe it. Maybe grassy. It is however another well balanced well made green flash

Bottle@wka. Copper golden clear. Caramels, tropical exotics, fresh berries, pines. Pretty nice fruity hoppy nose. Smooth body. Sweets, bitters. Cream corny caramel malty. Fruity, light spicy iipa. Good balance, possibly bit on the bitter side, hides the abv quite well. Slight floral meadowy finish.

On tap at Pies & Pints Morgantown. Deep gold with medium white head. Aroma is herbal hops, medium/thick body, medium carbonation, and little small-bubble lacing. Taste is dank, some herbal hops and bitter hops. Lots of hop flavors in this one.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Shared with weaselkenievel. Vivid orange pour with a smallish off white head. Piney hop aplenty in the beak alongside sweet malts. Flavour wise the hops stepped up to the plate and delivered, juicy citrus fruit and earthy notes in chorus alongside balancing malty sweetness. Up there with the best in style and this was right up my er freeway.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
"after having them side by side, i have to give a slight nod to the West Coast over this one...maybe the juicier and more floral hop profile...Nugget & Summit in here, has a bigger body and is ridiculously smooth for such a big hop bomb of a beer. Quite acidic in the feel & flavor. The aroma, as expected is wonderful piney bitter hops. Love it. Similar profile to Hopsickle, but not quite as good...close though. For theprice, Iíll stick with GFís West Coast IPA but will have this again."

Off the bat this beer looks, like all green flash beers, great. Pours a lovely lovely gold with a solid lasting white head. Unfortunately the aroma doesnít come threw, but then this bottle does have some age on it. The taste is good, not too bitter for a big IPA, it manages to retain some complexity threw all those hops and is very drinkable. Overall, I would like to try a fresher example, but this still stands strong.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Hazy orange color with a good amount of head. Aroma of citrus and a little earthy and astringen. Very sweet orange peel flavor and crazy drinkable for such a high ABV.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Hazy orange. Film of bubbly, sticky, white head. Sticky toffee. Overripe mandarin. Ripe banana. Some spice. Some pith. Taste is heavy sweet, before relief, by way of a dirty, earthy bitterness, kicks in. Some booze, and soft carbonation, make for a big, rich mouthfeel. Finishes juicy, spicy bitter. A big beer. A tad rough, but very tasty. Stupid expensive, though. Could have been a lot higher rate. Need to get to America...
