ucusty (1871), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Apr 20, 2008 Transparent amber with fizzy off white head and some spotty lacing. Bread and citrus on the nose. Nice malty back-bone with a balanced presence of hops. Nice crisp bitter finish highibus (421), Mill Creek, Washington, USA Apr 19, 2008 Pours a hazy deep straw with huge white head. Great lacing. Aroma is huge spicy hops. Smells like Chinook before you put them into the pot. Lovely. Flavor is high hops and decent malt. Nice west coast 2ipa. Love Green Flash. Defreni (994), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 18, 2008 Flaske. Rigtig fin duft af blomster og citrus, men meget mild i smagen. Næsten sart. En kende overrasket over at den ikke havde mere at byde på. En af aftenens mindre gode øl. cellar (483), Dublin, Ireland Apr 15, 2008 thanks for another great tasting Kim (Beljohansen)!!! clear, short head, notes of spices, hops and grapefruit, bitter and long aftertaste. DenverLogan (421), MileHi, Colorado, USA Apr 14, 2008 Love to be the 400th reviewer of this beauty...I’m way overdue to mention it’s delightful hoppy gusto. Green Flash makes some delightful brews and this is no exception. This big daddy IPA has lots of spritzy hop pizzazz that few match...similar to a Moylan’s Hopsicle and that’s a compliment. Truly a beauty amongst the many west coast double IPAs in overall malt-hop balance and a truly delightful flavor. WISEGUY572 (1244), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 12, 2008 Nose of orange and pine. Clear gold, huge white head, great lace. Taste of sweet caramel malts, orange and pine resin, reminds me of a Stone IPA but a little more intensely hopped and a little more alcohol. marcus (1821), Sacramento, California, USA Apr 12, 2008 This golden ale poured with a thin off-white head and a floral aroma. This is a Southern California hopped up pale ale with a grapefruit taste and a sharp bitter finish. If you are a hophead, this is a great beer. Otherwise, this is a pretty good beer. arrogantb (695), Denver, Colorado, USA Apr 11, 2008

So I stupidly ordered this today at the Falling Rock after disliking three bottles! I’d drink one, get disgusted, and a couple months later I’d think "nah, must have been a bad bottle" and I buy another which provides the same results. I’m so smart I thought well, I’ll try it on tap! It looked great so I can’t knock that. The aroma started hoppy and ok but then devolved into black pepper, fuck. The taste was more pepper, garlic, messed up. I cannot understand this beer. It does not make sense to me and I like hoppy beers. It is completely incongruous. Why can’t they just make a double West Coast IPA?
