Pours a crystal clear dark golden color with a nice foamy white head and decent lacing. Nose is all grapefruit citrusy hops. Palate is mostly citrus with some pine overtones and a very slight malt background. Finishes with a lingering bitter aftertaste. I liked this one and after some of the crappy foreign pale lagers I just had, this one was a welcomed change. Theis (3651), Denmark

Tons of floral hop aroma citrus and pine fill your nose
Wow this has a good balance in flavor for 101 I.B.U there is enough malt to keep the hops in check
Mouth feel is medium with average carbonation
Good beer, the alcohol was well hidden to me. I don’t think I could drink more than one bomber of these per sitting

Pours a cloudy burnt orange color with a thin creamy offwhite head, leaves lots of lace. Stinks of hops... Dark and grassy smelling. The taste isn’t super bitter, earthy hops, somewhat syrupy sweet.. Mouthfeel is syrupy and pretty thick. When fresh, it’s good. Good carbonation. epf33 (222), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 3, 2008 Bomber from G&G. Pours a very nice golden orange, not quite amber with a good, solid head and nice carbonation. Aroma was room-filling and somewhat surprising. Scents of peach, grapefruit, and vanilla. I was surpised that the Summit and Nugget hops had this quality of aroma. Flavor is dominated by the hops, but the malt comes through later. Excellently bitter after the swallow, with a smooth aftertaste. 9% abv but very drinkable. Overall, a very solid double IPA that may not stand out as unique, but is certainly high quality.
