Flavor is sweet with grapefruits, citrus, caramel and a nice hoppy kick to the end. Finishes bitter. Lovely! Grovlam (3790), Copenhagen, Denmark Jan 17, 2008 Bottle. [Courtesy of thewolf, another great session @ yespr] Average thick creamy like off-white head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Light cloudy amber colour. Aroma of lovely sweet pineapple, grapefruit, citrus and hint of elderflower in the sniff. Over the palate comes apricot, hint of liquorish, caramel, fruit that being peach like. Full bodied with a very dry texture and an average carbonation. Well balanced bitter and sweet flavour. Dry and bitter light lingering finish. Jmichael (633), Asheville, North Carolina, USA Jan 15, 2008 pours a clear gold with full white fluffy head. fresh smooth citrus hop aroma. smooth front with bitter finish. dry aftertaste. good. grandet (477), Scranton, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 9, 2008 Bottle. Just became available in NE Pennsylvania. Nice orange pour with a big long lasting white head. Nice piney aroma with some citrus in the background. Nice smooth hop flavor. pretty well balanced and tasty. would def have again. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA Jan 8, 2008 Bottle from encinitas, CA. Hazy orange/amber with large, long lasting white head. Citrus and grainy hop aroma with slight lemon, not all that strong, but nice. Nice fresh hop flavor of pine and grapefruit with large bitterness, slight malt tones of caramel, not very balanced but a very nice hop bomb. Hotly carbonated that fades to nice creamy full body. A nice brew with wonderful hops, only wish it were more balanced but that is personal preference. Miver (551), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 7, 2008 Bomber. Poured cloudy amber with a fine white head. Aroma of fresh cut grass, and tons of floral hops. Taste was hops, oranges, lemon and pine. Hints of Lysol present and certainly a little harsh. I like a good IIPA but in this case I’ll take green flash’s single IPA over this. steview (901), Los Angeles, California, USA Jan 5, 2008 it is just a big ol’ double IPA with nothing else; thin for what it is, but otherwise; good--typical flavor and aroma, bigger and more fresh aroma, however. axilla (962), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 4, 2008 Poured a slightly hazy amber orange color body with a big, sticky, off-white head. The aroma is sweet pine and oranges with some carmel. Flavor has the same hop profile as the regular IPA with a much bigger malt backbone. Seemed a little off balance in the wrong direction, a little too malty.
