Commercial Description:
"San Diego-style IPA, as it has come to be known by many, is a super-hoppy, high gravity, yet highly quaffable ale. Green Flash Imperial IPA is created in this new tradition, with intense hop flavors and aromas from a unique blend of Summit and Nugget hops. It’s all about the hops!" -- Brewmaster Chuck Silva

I thnk I just swallowed a pine tree and I cool with that. Never had an IPA with as much fresh piney flavor as this. Alcohol isn’t noticeable at all. Very very drinkable. Great IIPA that I could drink many of. Would love to try again.

22 oz bottle. Lightly hazy orange pour with a nice looking light white head. Lots of grapefruit in the aroma with apricot and caramel malt. Nice caramel malt body with solid hops all the way through. Tangerine and pine are with come to mind. Yum…No other way to say it. Medium body with a bitter dry finish. Solid and enjoyable stuff!

22 oz bottle...big pine and sweet citrus aroma..golden orange with a decent bubbly head...very bitter first impression with a smooth finish and clean crisp bitter aftertaste...alcohol is hidden by the hops and not the sweetness of other doubles....lots of long lasting lacing and head....really enjoyed this beer...I will definately add this to my buy again list

Draft @ Grey Lodge. Great surprise to see this on tap in Philly and I went right for it. Pours with a thick head and the sticky, pine aroma I miss from SD beers. This fails to dissapoint with grass, pine and citrus fruits. A real treat, especially to find this on this coast.

Pours a hazy bright golden orange with an off-white medium dense head. Bright, pleasantly weedy, fresh herbaceous aroma with some dark citrus and earth notes and a slight touch of maltiness. Straightforward strong bitterness with earthy and dark citrus hops flavors and well-integrated malt and alcohol. Extremely well-rounded mouth-feel with extraordinary balance with prominient bitterness that really works and very little malt sweetness yet posesses great structure and strangth.

I was super excited to try this one and a bit dissapointed at the end. Still a good beer. Clear orange beer with a small white head. Some orange and maybe apricot in the aroma but it’s mostly very floral. Nice bitterness upfront, maybe a little piney. Unpleasant alcohol finish. It’s a good beer but nothing super spectacular.

Extraoridnarly drinkable double ipa. Huge taste with loads of hops and bitterness. Exactly what you are looking for if you are into big IPA’s.
