Oct 2, 2007 Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has spicy notes of sage, as well as notes of other herbs, and heather honey. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and heather, leading to a very bitter finish. The body is thin.

Jan 31, 2008 Bottled. Somewhere between deep golden and pale amber, firm head. Striking lychee aroma. Full bodied and very sweet. The attempts at balancing the vast amounts of hops results in excessive sweetness,and it feels a bit sticky. The lovely hop flavour fades out into an inky bitter finish.

May 11, 2008 Bronze colour. Nice sparkle. Spicy, woodsy nose with lots of star anise. Wow - gorgeous and unique sage, rosemary, toast, anise...a whacked out, beautiful hop character. I like it.
