Bottle 66cl. Clear medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly - fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grape, orange, grass. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (270308)

Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has spicy notes of sage, as well as notes of other herbs, and heather honey. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and heather, leading to a very bitter finish. The body is thin.

(Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of Storm. Hazy golden with a dense, off-white head. Fresh and very citrusy aroma. Solid body with some caramel malt and then a very distinct hoppy finish. 100507

75 cL bottle, thanks to thewolf. Pours hazy orange with a dense white head. Mild pine and grapefruity aroma. Flavour starts with a sweet caramel with a nice fruity note before a solid bitterness is building up along nice sweet notes towards the finish. Nice.

Bottled@Konttori, Tampere. Goldeny orange colour with mediumsized big foamy sparkling bubbly head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with some mild caramelly and mild spicy notes as well. Flavour is quitee much the same, with a rsther bittery finish. Pleasant.

Bottled. Somewhere between deep golden and pale amber, firm head. Striking lychee aroma. Full bodied and very sweet. The attempts at balancing the vast amounts of hops results in excessive sweetness,and it feels a bit sticky. The lovely hop flavour fades out into an inky bitter finish.

Bootle. Clear golden coloured with a small white head. Very perfumed aroma of hops, grass and pine needles. Flavour of hops, grass and pine needles with notes of caramel. Hoppy finish. One dimensional hop juice with no complexity.

The bottle is at least one year old; it pours a hazy amber color, with generous head, quite frothy, leaving behind a nice lace. The hop aroma is mostly resiny, with only light fruits; there is also a peculiar light soap presence, and refined white sugar. Good body strength; there is a very good toffee and caramel flavor, with the desired sweetness, with apricot jam; strong bitterness, a bit harsh, then resiny, finally fruity too. Powerful and deeply pleasant, but not very fresh.

Hazy deep blond color. Fruity hop beer, apricot jam and oranges. Good caramel and toffee flavor, resiny and fruity hops, bitter oranges. Strong final, getting a bit astringent.

Hazy golden color; big head. Very nice and quite original aroma, hoppy, earthy, with manure. Toffee flavor, and similar hop impact (manure...); some sweetness too. Very good, but tonight, compared side to side to the Ballast Point Dorado, it can’t win.

Flavor: more of the sweet crystal flavor comes through to balance the billerness allowing the hop flavor more control,

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2008 [Courtesy of thewolf, session @ yespr] Hazy golden with medium short lasting head. Aroma is hoppy with grapefruit notes. Flavor is sweet with grapefruits, citrus, caramel and a nice hoppy kick to the end. Finishes bitter. Lovely!
