| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 21, 2006 Thanks to dickinsonbeer. Pours a translucent golden amber with an average white creamy head. Aroma was an all out bag of hop pellets, lots of pine/grapefruit and a very hidden malt profile. Flavors of the same, not a whole lot of hop bitterness though, some hints of malt. | 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Aug 1, 2007 Draft @ Grey Lodge. Great surprise to see this on tap in Philly and I went right for it. Pours with a thick head and the sticky, pine aroma I miss from SD beers. This fails to dissapoint with grass, pine and citrus fruits. A real treat, especially to find this on this coast. hotstuff (3183), Indiana, USA

Off-white small head tht mostly diminished, fair amount of lacing, no visible carbonation, hazy, and a golden hue. Nose was malt, hoppy, grapefruit, pine and floral and ditto for the flavor as well. Dry finish. Fairly smooth mouthfeel. Medium body. Quffable, would drink this one again and worthy of a try. TheBeerGod (3177), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 13, 2006 Bottle. Rich amber pour. Sturdy tanned froth with larger collection of bubbles off-center. Nose is strong oily hops, pine, citrus oils and orange peels. Taste is big pine and citrus, flowery notes, light hop spice, chewy malts and caramel. Touches of maple syrup as well. Some tropical fruit as well. There’s a mint or menthol feel coming through towards the back end. Body is oily and creamy with a medium-full overall feel and a moderate carbonation feel. Sticky as well. Finishes with big orange peel, grapefruit juice, pine sap, pine needles and citrus oils. Very big and very West Coast IPA. Me likey!!! GeneralGao (3081), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 6, 2007 22 oz bottle. Poured a clear light orange color. Head was white with decent retention and lacing. Attractive aroma of malty caramel, alcohol, resiny hops, and honey touched cereal grain. Slightly sweet on the tongue with moderate hop bitterness of about 5 out of 10 that lingers. Tasted of peach, caramel, and grapefruity hops. Delicious. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 14, 2007 Bomber. Been in my fridge for a while. Pours orange with a nice pinky sized bright white head. Nose is subdued, not sure if this is because of bottle age or what, but there is hops there but they don’t jump by any means. Taste is sweet, pretty front ended in its heat and piney and citrusy. A good DIPA, but I guess I’m spoiled. caesar (3035), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands
