Commercial Description:
"San Diego-style IPA, as it has come to be known by many, is a super-hoppy, high gravity, yet highly quaffable ale. Green Flash Imperial IPA is created in this new tradition, with intense hop flavors and aromas from a unique blend of Summit and Nugget hops. It’s all about the hops!" -- Brewmaster Chuck Silva

Bomber bottle, pours a light hazy yellow orange beer with a thin off white head. Aroma is piny grapefruit awesomneness. Flavor is sweet malty piny grapefruit. Solid well balanced delicious beer. This is very close to their ipa but wayy better. Very very nice! Thanks J tiki

It definately is all about the hops. Big grapefruit aroma from the start followed by a crisp hoppy taste. Stays with you for a few minutes, I like that in a beer.

Poured from tap a copper color with medium sized off-white head. Aromas of citrusy and pine floral hops. Flavor is much the same with a big gratefruit and pine resin bitterness balanced with a good malty caramel sweetness. The palate is thick but smooth with a big malt mouthfeel and a nice balance with the sweet and bitter. There is a slight hoppy harshness in the middle but still top rate in my book. I’d drink this over and over.

A hazy straw colored beer with a nice fluffy off-white head. Aroma is sweet, juicy citrusy and flowery hops. Flavor is a lot of citrus hops, a bit of a caramel malt, and ending with a long, strong hop bitterness. Really well done here, good DIPA.

Bomber from Sparky... Good orange color, good head. Citrus and pine in the aroma. I havent had a good double IPA in a while and this hit the spot. Nice and bitter, citrus pine, classic west coast characteristic. Some fruity flavors hidden in there as well. Medium texture, easy to drink. Overall a well crafted DIPA! Thanks E for the brew!

pours a beautiful almost neon orange with a thin long-lasting white head. The aroma of this beer is almost pure pine-type hops. The flavor is bitter pine but there’s a hint of sweetness playing around the edges which is nice. You can kind of tell it’s a 9% beer, but the alcohol tint isn’t distracting at all. This is a nice Imperial IPA.

Enjoyed this brew a late and hot danish summer evening in great company.. made it even better. Clear golden body with a white fading head. The nose is very hoppy with notes of butter, fresh-cutted grass and elder flower. The taste is very dry and hoppy with sweet grapefruit notes. It is a bit perfumish with a hoppiness that are not overdominating. The palate is fresh and oily with a bitterness in the back roof of the mouth.
