COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"San Diego-style IPA, as it has come to be known by many, is a super-hoppy, high gravity, yet highly quaffable ale. Green Flash Imperial IPA is created in this new tradition, with intense hop flavors and aromas from a unique blend of Summit and Nugget hops. It’s all about the hops!" -- Brewmaster Chuck Silva

650ml bottle. Unclear golden orange color with off white head. Heavy hoppy and malty aroma, pine, grapefruit, caramel. Sweet and bitter taste like the aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation

Bomber to glass. Clear golden-orange with nice head and lacing. Fruity citrus pine aroma not very strong. Hop forward with some bitterness in aftertaste. Great double IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. No detailed notes, entering from earlier tasting. Solid DIPA with a strong bitter finish.

Bottle: Clear, golden, medium head and good lace. The nose is a little reductive or dank. Maybe too much pine for me. Very rich palate. Dry to off fry. Not sour and very bitter. Dense and long. Loads of hops and malt. Lacks polish and style.

(Green Flash Imperial IPA) Bottle 650 ml at home, served into a big tulip, ABV 9% Deep golden orange colour on the body, tall and thick white head with great retention. Aroma of tropical fruits, caramel, pine. Taste is nicely bitter albeit nothing extreme, with fruity hints, pine, caramel. Medium body with good carbonation. Standard DIPA but highly drinkable.

Bomber From Edison ale house. Pours a hazy amber color. Thin white head. Scent is tropical fruits and hops. Taste is Nice and hoppy, grapefruit. Hops kind of linger. I like it. Good beer.

On tap at The Happy Gnome with commonshawn although let the record show he had stopped drinking. Appearance is a dark orange with golden elements. Quarter finger head. Hoppy aroma with citrus and/or tropical fruit characteristics. Taste is citrus forward with a decent dose of hops. Approachable. Slight sweetness with a good effort put forth to hide the alcohol. Bitterness at the end but overall a pretty well balanced beer. Nothing stands out but I like it in general.

Bomber into snifter glass, clear golden-amber color with white head. Aroma notes of earthy/pine hops, grass, lightly floral and caramel malt sweetness. Taste adds resin, some grapefruit, light spices and herbal hop bitterness. Medium-heavy body, low-moderate carbonation, dry, creamy with lingering earthy/pine bitterness. Very pine heavy DIPA, unsure of age due to poor "best by" labeling. If this is older I would love to try one fresh!

Hoppy and pine notes dominate this ipa. Slight boozy bite at the finish. Smells earthy and piney. Pours gold with a white head. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
