22 oz’er ... pour a nice light, bright orange, with a massive airy, rocky head. of white foam. Pure hop nuggets assault the olfactory glands on the first whiff ... wow ... quite the tease for the hophead like me. As I begin to drink it, the utter oily, resiny hoppiness starts pouring down my gullet before the first bit of liquid touches the lips. Surprisingly the beer itslef is less brutally hoppy than all that aroma suggests. Instead, it’s nice and even-keeled with a decent citrus hop flourish, but without being overwhelming. Still a lot of resiny, oily hop here, but blended into a light-to-the-lips beer. Wow. (#2758, 3/18/2007)

Jul 1, 2009 Pours a golden-orange with moderate carbonation and a thick, off-white head that leaves behind awesome lacing. Aroma is a very noticeable herbal, citrus and a very, very heavy does of bitterness. The flavor is almost all a very bitter leafiness with some light citrus and semi-sweet two row malt notes at the end. The bitterness is so strong that your taste buds pucker and it makes your tongue feel extra dry.Mouth feel of the brew is perfect with a mod/heavy feeling to it. The lacing produced from this beer is fantastic and actually builds out from the glass, its really that thick. Overall just a slightly too bitter to make the beer very well rounded but it is a very good brew by a solid brewery.

Jul 1, 2009 I tried Gren Flash at Blue Smoke in New york with a big plate of ribs.
Green Flash is a an amber colored beer with an average off white head. The aroma is very spicy and herbal while the flavor is sweet.
The finish is quite enjoyable as it is neither too bitter nor too weak.

Jun 24, 2009 bottle thanks to stefanj. poured a clear gold with a white head and laced the glass as well. aroma of citrus, grapefruit, butterscotch??, and a musty type aroma. flavor was citrus, pine, papaya. full body with medium carbonation. pretty good offering, thanks stefan!!

Jun 19, 2009 From bottle. Pours an orange hue with lush, fine, frothy head. Aroma is citrus and caramel. Taste is similar, slightly sweet, and then the rush of hops takes over with strong bitter finish and aftertaste. Yum!

Jun 16, 2009 pours clear amber with a thick white head. Sweet pineapple and other citrus aroma. Very crisp hop taste, not overly bitter or sweet but both, and balanced very nicely. Thanks to Butters, this is truly excellent.

Jun 8, 2009 22 oz. Pours a pale amber with medium white head that sticks around for awhile. Nice sticky lacing.Aroma is bursting with fresh citrus, pine hops. taste was bitter grapefruit with a slight carmel malt backbone. Nice and oily. Yet another great example of a west coast dipa. Well done.

Jun 4, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a thick off-white head that laces the glass. Aroma was mostly hoppy with fresh pine trees, citrus, grapefruit and some grass. Flavor was sharply bitter with piney resin, grapefruit, citrus, orange and light caramel with a medium body and has a dry and bitter finish.
