This pours and laces well. A good consistent head. I love the soft pineconne and citrus hop aroma that comes through. A thick mouthfeel and the flavour of malt and hop dominates but for a slightly ferric/curic aftertaste. This is a slight detraction from an otherwise fine beer, my first for the Aussie winter.

Dark orange, thin head. Clean hops aroma, some pine and citrus. Bitter evergreen, resin, hint of citrus peel, then an intriguing bright note (tangerine lollipop?). Long and dry on the finish.

Shared bomber, shaker glass. Murky medium brown. Slick, bitter malty palate covers the high ABV. Not something I would drink a lot of but I enjoyed it.

Pours clear amber-orange with a medium beige head, good retention, very fine lacing. Strong delicious pine resin aroma, with notes of biscuit, and grass. Medium body, crisp, dry. Mildly sweet, medium-strong bitter finish, with pine lingering for some time. Big and brash, itís all about the hops but it has enough malt to hold it together nicely.

Draft. Deep gold. Slight head. Aroma of rubber, diesel, citrus, grass, slight pine. Taste is grassy, bit of onion, orange zest, sweet, cereal. Bit of booze burn. Slightly sticky finish. Not bad for a DIPA.

On tap at Parry's. Pours an orange-honey body and a thin white head. Makes a good lace down the glass. Aroma is of pine resin and big hops. Tastes of fresh hops (a couple of varieties!). This is a very bitter IPA. Delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

So just popped the top and got punched in the face with a blast of pine. Thatís how this one is going to go. Iíve had this several times but this one particular bottles splendor needs to be reviewed. The aroma is TONS of pineapple and pine as promised by the label. Literally telling me what to be excited for and delivering. Taste is nuts. Just pine pine pine pine pine pine hops hops hops hops hops hops tropical fruits and a super dry finish that leaves your palate scorched and itís awesome. This is what an imperial IPA is supposed to be like. It is well balanced and has that hop monster title it can actually live up to. I get really excited about all these green flash beers they are world class. Exceptional brewery and beer. Cheers.
