COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"San Diego-style IPA, as it has come to be known by many, is a super-hoppy, high gravity, yet highly quaffable ale. Green Flash Imperial IPA is created in this new tradition, with intense hop flavors and aromas from a unique blend of Summit and Nugget hops. It’s all about the hops!" -- Brewmaster Chuck Silva

This pours and laces well. A good consistent head. I love the soft pineconne and citrus hop aroma that comes through. A thick mouthfeel and the flavour of malt and hop dominates but for a slightly ferric/curic aftertaste. This is a slight detraction from an otherwise fine beer, my first for the Aussie winter.

Lovely gold color. Low head. Light hop smell. Starts slow with hops starting small but right away, then exploding into a mouth filling bitter. One dimensional but good.

Light haze to a orange/amber pour. Aroma is citrus, malt and a sweet wort. Taste is candy sweet citrus and a bitter bite. Don’t think I’ve tasted one very close to this. Good effort.

Somewhere between the west coast and the green bullet this one lost me a little. The arome was citrus zest with some pine, but nothing like the west coast IPA bouquet. The flavor is what just doesn’t do it for me. I really don’t like the hop flavor but don’t know how to describe it. Maybe grassy. It is however another well balanced well made green flash

Bottle@wka. Copper golden clear. Caramels, tropical exotics, fresh berries, pines. Pretty nice fruity hoppy nose. Smooth body. Sweets, bitters. Cream corny caramel malty. Fruity, light spicy iipa. Good balance, possibly bit on the bitter side, hides the abv quite well. Slight floral meadowy finish.

On tap at Pies & Pints Morgantown. Deep gold with medium white head. Aroma is herbal hops, medium/thick body, medium carbonation, and little small-bubble lacing. Taste is dank, some herbal hops and bitter hops. Lots of hop flavors in this one.
