3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Amber with a short-lived Jersey cream head. Candied orange peel aroma. Pine, citrus flavors with some honey-comb notes. Nice balancing hop bitterness. Long bitter finish. Alcohol is quite evident but is neither hot or boozy. Not sure that classifying it as a Abbey Trippel is accurate. Seems more like a hoppy belgian stong.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
More of a double IPA than a Belgian. Pours a golden amber, with a couple of inches of thick, foamy head. Aroma is floral and grassy. Flavor is a peppery blend of citrus and hops, with an astringent finish. Interesting, but not my favorite.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bright, robust cloudy orange with a few inches of offwhite head. Belgian yeasts in the nose, a bit soapy, sweet powdery citrus hops and clove and some banana too as it warmed. Soft carbonation, mouthfeel that’s oily and creamy, bitter astringent finish. Pert bitter pepper flavor, lime zest, pine, citrus and resinous hops, some clove-y belgian yeast too. Nice but a bit on the bitter side.

Bomber into a chalice during Vikes game. Weird after taste knocks this down a few points

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
IMO, an agressive DIPA with a touch of Belgium yeast. Slightly cloudy amber color. Solid head and average body.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but should be pretty fresh. Pours lightly cloudy golden amber color with a 2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, orange zest, orange rind, tangerine, banana, clove, pepper, floral, grass, pine, candi sugar, bread, bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great complexity and balance of hop and yeast ester notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, orange zest, orange rind, banana, bubblegum, clove, pepper, floral, grass, pine, candi sugar, bread, and floral/yeast earthiness. Fair amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, banana, clove, pepper, bubblegum, candi sugar, bread, floral, pine, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Awesome complexity and balance of hop and fruity/spicy yeast flavors; with a fair amount of malt balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a lightly slick and crisp mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic Belgian IPA. All around awesome complexity and balance of hop and yeast ester flavors; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the big ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Very dark and slightly orange pour, spotty light soapy head and an aroma of Belgian yeast and hints of hops. Flavor is herbal Belgian yeast, with hints of caramel and bitter orange hop citrus on the finish. Pretty solid.

Bottle. Poured a hazy amber color with a medium sized slightly off-white head. Aroma is packed with a lot of hoppy citrus notes, some floral and Belgian spice notes. Flavor is sweet candi sugar notes, spices, and citrus hops. A touch boozy.
