COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Le Freak is a modern ale created by converging two beer styles, Belgian Trippel and American Imperial IPA. The use of two yeast strains further marries the styles and American hops give the beer its modern flare.

Hazy orange body with a big, creamy off-white head. Aroma of hay, biscuit and sweet orange jam. Flavor is fruity and bitter with soft malt flavor. Fine body and a fruity bitter aftertaste. Quite robust and bitter, like it

1pt 6oz bottle. Hazy reddish amber colour. Small off-white head. Nice malty and nutty aroma with a spicy yeasty note. Crisp floral hops to balance. Sweet malty flavours, but the body is not too cloying. Elegant and rich. American style Belgian tripel. Lots of malt and not as light as the Belgians. Strong and delicious. Love it.

I would definitely put this in the IPA and not tripel category, favors that more for sure. Hazy orange-red pour on tap at Parry’s, aroma brought notes of big grass and earth into sweet orange and grapefruit, sweet esters follow pretty well with a slight ethanol burn, touch of caramel and toffee notes as well. Taste is slightly grassy and pine, fruity pear, apricot and orange, slight lemon, hints of biscuit, caramel, and toffee, slight earthy tones, very harsh bitter finish, some alcohol present as well.

Draft at Prohibition Pig - Poured a slightly cloudy yellow-orange in color with a medium white head. Aroma is an interesting mix of Belgian yeasts and piney hops. Lots of fruity esters and yeast initially followed up by some of the piney hop bitterness. I love the hoppy Belgian styles...

Bottle with Nate. Orange with white head. Belgian flavors hit first, followed by the bitterness of an IIPA. Hops throughout, lemon, orange, pepper, misc spices.

Nice color, great head. Reminded me a lot of Stone's Cali...frankly for the price I prefer the Stone much better for the price and flavor for that matter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lagerboy (419) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 29, 2012
Unclear honey yellow, big rocky white head lasts, leaving some storied lacing. Cloying Belgian yeasty aroma, mixed with a piney hoppiness. Strong Belgian trippel taste up front, followed by a bitter hoppy bite. Spicy and fruity. A soft alcohol maltiness emerges as it warms. Average carbonation, full bodied. Bitter citrus finish. A well made, intriguing and potent blend of styles. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

Been looking forward to trying this one. Pours neon orange with a tight white head. Aroma is spice, apple, and banana bread. A nice sweetness to it. The flavor is fairly bitter with a floral and citrus hop flavor cut by the fruity yeast flavors. A really great experimental brew.

Clear, bubbly, orange with a solid, resilient cream colored head. Thick lacing. Aroma of apple, citrus, Belgian yeast, spice, and bread. The taste is yeasty, sweet and substantially bitter. Very fruity. Medium-full bodied, finishing bitter.
