COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Le Freak is a modern ale created by converging two beer styles, Belgian Trippel and American Imperial IPA. The use of two yeast strains further marries the styles and American hops give the beer its modern flare.

Great easy drinking beer! Somewhat floral nose. This beer drinks great. A bit of a punch at first on the tip of the tongue, but fairly well balanced. I didn’t get that overpowered Belgium yeast that is sometimes left lingering in the mouth.

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Fruity sweetish aroma. Notes of mango. Starts mild fruity, well balanced, not too dry. Sweet-fruity like mango and apricot. Nice!

Served in tulip glass, light to medium amber, minimal head and lacing. Strong hop presence. Difficult to pick out the Belgian heritage behind the hops. Alcohol was obvious on the first sip, this is 9%+ ABV, so no surprises. Well served with knackwurst and spicy mustard

Excellent beer. Aromas bursting with citrus, Belgian yeast, spices and caramel. Flavors are more of the same with a lot of bitterness at the end. Medium bodied. Nice frothy white head that leaves a lot of lacing.

THANKS! Light amber with off-white head. Creamy milky, thick sweet bread, thick yeast, banana, white sugar sweet, light grass in the back. Apparently this is an Abbey Tripel, well that explains that, not bad at all but not really my thing.

On tap, poured hazy yellow hue w/ large foamy long-lasting head. Huge sweet funky aroma. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a light sour/bitter finish. Tastes are white wine, white grape, banana, and clove. Light bodied and warm finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear light amber color with a very lively large white head. Aroma is yeast, spice, bread, grapefruit, earthy hop. Taste is lighter than the nose, notes of bread and yeast, a weaker spice note with a great malty body, and an excellent crisp and clean bitter hop note. Overall a great beer, very balanced.

Pours hazy golden with no head on tap. Typical Belgian aroma with typical flavor. Good beer I guess. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
