Jul 12, 2009 22oz bottle. Cloudy orange color with a medium off-white head. Citrus hop aroma with some malt and a touch of Belgian yeast. Citrus hop flavor, some spicy yeast and a lingering bitter finish. More IPA character than most beers like this. Good stuff.

Jul 11, 2009 Bought it at Whole Foods in Sacramento. Finally, after a long wait I was able to drink Le Freak. Perfect marriage of two great styles. The sweet of the Abbey Trippel with the bitterness and fullness of IIPA.

Spicy aroma. Golden coloured slightly fruity and spicy. Strong in alcohol. Crisp and pale bitter malt finish.

Jul 9, 2009 Cloudy dark yellow-golden in color with white foamy head.... Citrusy sweet aroma.... Flavor is sweet citrus and yeastly like a trippel initially, with a little more bitterness on the finish than you’d expect from a Belgian.... Citrus hops and yeast linger on the palate... Pretty good Belgian IPA...
