3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 BucannonXC5 (580) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 20, 201222-oz. bomber into a pint glass at my house on July 20, 2012. Lots of foamy white head, probably about three fingers. Honey golden pale color. The head stayed forever and was thick and foamy on the top and sides of glasses.
Got a surprising mix on the nose of citrus hops, Belgian style and American Pale Ale. First and probably the most strong note is the Belgian style - cloves, light banana, wheat. Sharp spicy bitter citrus hops, seemed to be more tangerine or orange than anything else. Also a light lemon grass.
Tasted pretty close to the smell, really what I described above. Sharp bitter pale notes, sharp bitter citrus hops, at least somewhere in between. Tangerine still is the main citrus hops that I can taste, also a bit of pine. Unlike the nose, the Belgian notes aren’t as pronounced, but they are still there. Some kind of spice is in there as well.
Light body. Creamy texture. Average-to-above average carbonation. Long bitter finish.
Enjoyed this beer. Just a nice hybrid and good change of pace. Would definitely try it again.

Lupulada e forte no aroma. Sabor leve de laranja e um certo azedo. Final seco e marcante.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ALLOVATE (2142) - Butler, AUSTRALIA - JUN 10, 2013
Produces up a murky orange with low carbonation and a messy, short-lived foam. Aroma is dominated by supple fruit esters such as pear, peach and lychee, some yeasty spice and ethanol. Yeasty, fruity palate. Body is leaner than expected and smooth and warming in the finish. Moderate carbonation sees the esters penetrate into every nook and cranny. Bitter fruit and pine needle swallow. Not much length. Candyish mid-palate, light malt and delicate hops. Everything seems so subtle. Was anticipating a facehoover of a beer and it delivered the polar opposite. Fresh and ripe oranges, peach and mango fills it out with a hint of ’strawberries & cream’ candies. The IIPA element a no show. Easy drinking stuff but not impressive. (33cL, no date stamp, Cellarbrations Carlisle)
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 pinkzambia (1301) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Bottle: Clear copper color with an aroma that is a conflicting the senses. Aroma of non-pine, and similar to going to 7-11 and mixing all the Slurpee flavors. Unique. Zesty. Truly Le Freak. Better than I expected which means the hops came through in a way that pleases me.

Draught. This is a really nice belgian IPA with lots of depth and complexity. My notes are a little cauge on this but it was carmely hoppy and intense.

Ganska kraftig humlesmak för min del utan att för den delen ta övertaget, lite bett i den som räddar den lite kan man säga.......

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 rollinsr (260) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - JUN 5, 2013
Pours a slightly hazy golden with frothy light tan head. Aroma is nice and light citrus with some raspberry notes that are both sweet and tart. The flavor is a well-rounded balance between the bitterness of the hops and the sweetness of the malt that lets the raspberry-like shine through with a slightly tart but overly satisfying finish.
