Kaatuu tulppaaniin oranssiin vivahtavan kullankeltaisena ja hieman sameana, vaahto on parin sormen paksuinen ja vahvaa pitsiä jättävä. Hajussa yhdistyvät belgihiivainen mausteisuus ja pihkainen humalointi. Juuri sellainen jenkkihumaloitu ja belgihiivalla tehty olut. Makeaa karamellia ja lievää yrttisyyttäkin on tukemassa. Maku on lähempänä perinteistä tripeliä - belgihiivaa ja mausteisuutta löytyy, jälkimaussa pihkainen ja karamellinen humalointi alkaa tuntua. Lievä, mutta selvä yrttisyys on mukana tukemassa. Suutuntuma on hiilihappoinen ja nipistelevän humaloitu, IBUja tuntuu löytyvän. Jenkkityylinen tripel, jossa melko hyvin on saatu belgihiivan mausteet ja jenkkihumalan pihka ja karamelli yhdistettyä. Ei ihan tyylinmukainen, mutta kuitenkin toimiva kokonaisuus.

Dourada, turva, sabor forte de lúpulo e amargor acentuado. Bastante alcoólica. Alcohol, herbs

Nice pour, Generous head, a little creamy, great head retention. Very sweet with a mix of a big IPA and Belgian strong ale.

Bottled. Pours golden with small white head. Smells sweet hoppy, abit parfume, abit honey. Tastes spicy, sweet hoppy, abit alcohol.

Mörkt bärnstensfärgad med högt skum. Doft av malt, gröna örter och belgisk jäst. Doft krockar med en häftig beska. Var tog sötma vägen. Borta är också övriga doftintryck av en belgisk trippel. Inte kul.

Bottle, 355ml - Hazy blonde beer with a large frothy white head. Aroma is fruity with notes of spices, pineapple, oranges, fruity esters and citrus. Flavor is spicy with notes of citrus, oranges, fruit esters, spruce and ginger. Intense aroma with an explosion of fruits and spices, a combination that normally doesn’t work, but in this beer it blends wonderfully.

Bomber->trappist. Orange/gold with small white head. Yeast, dishsoap, metal, orange peel. Messy.

Wow. Interesting mix. Now... I am a little biased. Not the biggest Belgian Ale fan. However; I love my IPA's. Le Freak is just that... Freakish. Smells floral and citrusy. On the palate you are met with the bitterness of a Belgian and the strong taste I hops signature of an IPA. Strong grain flavor with mild hints of citrus and some flora. I wouldn't say it was a favorite, but Green Flash makes amazing beer. I haven't ha a bad one. This one was good. Just not my thing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours mostly clear yellow apricot with a big off white, rocky head with great retention and great lacing. The Belgian yeast is apparent on the nose with a juicy fruit flavor, as are the hops with citrus and ripe pitted fruit. Some peppery notes also. Taste is first sweet then the bitter kicks in with citrus pith and pine character which lingers. Some of the pitted fruit appears after bitterness fades a bit and has a semi spicy, peppery finish. Mouthfeel is soft but full and medium bodied with medium carbonation. Good but thought I would like this more as it is a combination of two styles I enjoy. Would rather have a great IPA or a true Belgian tripel or pale ale. ---Jeremy H

Pours hazy golden brown, small head & lively carbonation, some sediment in the pour. Caramel malt backbone with a balance of US citrus hops, spice and belgian yeast. Long bitter finish. Very nice.
