Bottle from Ken at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours golden orange (or orange gold) with a very slight white head. Aroma is mixed malt and brett. Med minus body. Flavor is like oaky white wine mixed with brett. And some earthiness. It is tart/sour. Barnyard. They got this one just excellent!

On tap at Dexters, pours a hazy golden orange with a thin head, the aroma has a good amount of funk and barnyard with a little bit of fruit showing through too, the flavor has a bright front end of lots of citrus notes and first with a dry finish, the brett again shows more in the finish than anything but it works well.

Bottle from Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours cloudy golden with a tiny off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a tangy light malt flavor with a nice yeast presence and an oak finish. Very refreshing.

Pours a light orange with a one finger white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of ripe fruits, belgian yeast, musky wood, bready mats, spice, vinegar, and some red wine notes. Taste similar to the aroma but has even more wine and woody notes. Has a medium body with a dry, semi sour, medium finish. Overall, a pretty nice BA Saison that is pretty unique.

Slightly cloudy grassy with a creamy head. Tangy grapefruit nose. Very sweet beer. Like a granola biscuit.

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a cloudy pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of ginger, Belgian yeast, some vinous notes, and a little funk. Flavour brings out loads of pepper, followed by ginger, light vinous notes, and light tartness. Quite dry and fairly vinous. Nothing special but solid.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a bit cloudy yellow with a white head. The aroma is lightly fruity with strong Belgian yeast and pineapple brett. The flavor is full and fruity with tangerines, orange, pineapple and a little spice and phenols. A little soapy but nice notes of light summer fruits. A bit too estery for my tastes, but good.

On tap at Flanny’s in Tempe during the tap takeover. It pours with a totally opaque deep pale gold body with copper hues and supports a . . . well, nearly no head at all. The aroma offers up faint soft apple and vinegar and then some saison yeasty spices, faint red wine notes and a fainter still Brett like funkiness. The taste is pretty darn smooth with a mix of malts, soft vinegar and sweet red apple notes rolling into saison yeastiness and mild Brett tartness and funk around the edges.
