Pours a pale straw yellow, nose is grainy with a hint of floral hops, taste is not as bitter as I was expecting, nice malty body, hint of cereal grain, a little too dry for the style.

Draft. Golden pour, with white head. Grainy malt, hay, bitter hops, and lightly floral. Alright for a session beer, but not very interesting.

Tap at Stone Bistro. Pours amber with a foamy white head. Mild floral aroma. Med. body - creamy carb. Flavor is mild caramel with a fair amount of floral hop. Bitter is not harsh. Tastes really English. Really like this one.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 womencantsail (6920) - Garbage Grove, California, USA - JUL 20, 2010
A: The pour is a clear amber color with very little to no head on it.
S: The nose is quite light and un-impressive. A bit of nuttiness with toasted malts and not much in the way of hops or anything, to be honest.
T: The flavor follows the nose for the most part, but is a bit better off. Still toasty and biscuity with a slight nutty character. There is a mild bitterness to the beer as well.
M: A medium bodied beer with a moderate level of carbonation.
D: Not awful, but not something I would really be interested in having again. Pretty bland and mediocre, which is not something I expect from Green Flash.

Clear golden with a medium off white head. Fruity hops hit the nose and next to that I found malty notes. Flavour came out dry with grapefruity hops, pine and malty hints. Finished dry and bitter. Excellent session beer.

On tap at SD Brewing Co. Strong amber with solid lace. Strong rye up front, with a funky lil bonk. I can’t quite explain it, but it’s kinda sweet and kinda ammonia. Sweetness follows, with a bitter lingering finish. This one’ll bump up the average ratings on my bitters.

On tap at Blue Palms. Pours with a clear golden body and a small white head. Aroma of toasted grain, grassy, bitter, light diacetyl. Taste is bitter, floral, bready, and lightly metallic. Some fruity-pebbles on the flavor. Lively bubbles, dry finish.
