COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Palate Wrecker was originally brewed for the Hamilton’s Tavern 2nd Anniversary celebration. It’s the most complicated West Coast–inspired IPA we have ever brewed—mashing and sparging with hopped wort, in addition to our hop layering regimen for IPA. We use almost 6 lbs/bbl of Columbus and Centennial hops to create this very bitter hop monster (tested at 149 IBU and no extracts in case you were wondering). By popular demand, it is now released for the world to enjoy (even though this beer isn’t for everyone, only the real hop heads!!!). Cheers! - Chuck Silva - Brewmaster - Green Flash Brewing

Bottle. Pours clear copper. Aroma is hop. Hop pallets, loads of it. Grassy, citrus, floral and yeah.. HOPS. Heavy body, this is a big beer. Maybe a bit over the top, but certainly a nice experience.

Pours a clear amber colour with a frothy white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, pine, floral notes, caramel and plenty of hops. Taste is light to medium sweet leading to a big bitter finish.

Look, I am a lager lover, get used to it. This beer is a palate wrecker from the start. Its thick aroma of the BO of your favorite mate’s underarm is barely perceivable and definitely there. Taste is big thick soapy mouth coating episode. Terribly on style. Way tp much for the taste buds of my girlie palate. Roto tiller is the only way to describe this experience on my tongue, how rude. Wew. Nasty - ness. Same with finish, good thing I made this the last draft at bocktown today, again wew.

First time. Wow! Everything they said it would be. Very bitter, peppery to the max, loved it. Hop head here, the name describes it perfectly. High alcohol and IBU but very balanced, one or two would be enough.

Holy bitter! Cloudy golden amber look. Nice foamy head, but not rocky. Smells of centennial hops for days. Well carbonated. Super bitter taste, but also balanced well on the palate for drinkability. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours deep copper-amber colour with good head. Aroma is intense with piney hops. Taste is strong bitter, but delicious.

Sweet biscuit with orange and floral hop notes. Nice orange hue. Maybe a little too much mouthfeel but this improves with warmth ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aptly named; doesn’t disappoint. Bitter, hoppy, piney, like a barley wine. For sipping, not chugging. Nice aroma and lacing. Nice, harsh, dry finish. Reasonably priced, too.

Bottle. Hops...hops...hops with some sweet malt. Orange copper look, very good lacing. If you like hops, you can't go wrong with this brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
