Palate Wrecker was originally brewed for the Hamilton’s Tavern 2nd Anniversary celebration. It’s the most complicated West Coast–inspired IPA we have ever brewed—mashing and sparging with hopped wort, in addition to our hop layering regimen for IPA. We use almost 6 lbs/bbl of Columbus and Centennial hops to create this very bitter hop monster (tested at 149 IBU and no extracts in case you were wondering). By popular demand, it is now released for the world to enjoy (even though this beer isn’t for everyone, only the real hop heads!!!). Cheers! - Chuck Silva - Brewmaster - Green Flash Brewing

Hops are well balanced and it drinks surprisingly well. Lives up to it's name though. No beer you drink after can really be distinguished for flavors until halfway through them. Good end of the night IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Golden pour with white head. Smells of malt and a ton of hops. Tastes slightly sweet on the front with a big bitter finish. You can definetly taste the alcohol. Very good

Bottle at Euston Tap, London on 18 July. Poured a hazy mid-golden, with a dense white head and some lacing. Aroma of big hops; lots of citrus and tropical fruits, caramel and sponge cake. Grapefruit and pine in the flavour, with some biscuity malt. Finish was tinned fruits, bitter resin and toffee.

A train wreck of hops that assault everything, but in such a good way! Aroma BAM, that’s hops and the hops have a little more hops to go with them. The flavor is dominated by the resin and bitterness of hops.

Even though this is incredibly hoppy, it is still well-balanced and drinks better than a lot of other super hoppy beers.

Pale amber with a light beige head. Good retention. Powerful hoppy aroma of pine and citrus. Taste is a wave of citrus which fades quickly into a strong hop bitterness.
