COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Palate Wrecker was originally brewed for the Hamilton’s Tavern 2nd Anniversary celebration. It’s the most complicated West Coast–inspired IPA we have ever brewed—mashing and sparging with hopped wort, in addition to our hop layering regimen for IPA. We use almost 6 lbs/bbl of Columbus and Centennial hops to create this very bitter hop monster (tested at 149 IBU and no extracts in case you were wondering). By popular demand, it is now released for the world to enjoy (even though this beer isn’t for everyone, only the real hop heads!!!). Cheers! - Chuck Silva - Brewmaster - Green Flash Brewing

Pale amber with a light beige head. Good retention. Powerful hoppy aroma of pine and citrus. Taste is a wave of citrus which fades quickly into a strong hop bitterness.

Aroma reminiscent of sticking my nose into a bag of hops, plenty of citrus and resin. Taste similar to aroma, hop dominated with a pleasant underlying malt sweetness, full bodied. Residual bitterness is high but not harsh. Very slight hint of molasses aftertaste mingling with the high abv. Overall a flavour packed beer.

A big sticky mess of hops that is somehow well put together with a pour of bright golden orange and a so frothy, sticky yellowish head that left a coating of lace everywhere. The nose is heavily accented by grapefruit and pine resin with sticky caramel and honey sweetness and big heavy bitterness. Well balanced between malts and fruits with the astringent and bitter finish.

Barwa: głęboko bursztynowa, klarowna. Piana biała, drobno pęcherzykowa, średniej wielkości. Dość szybko opadająca, ale ładnie oblepiająca szkło. Całość dość gęsta i oleista.

Similar profile to the west coat IPA but with more flavor and punch. Well balanced and easy to drink. Alcohol well hidden and bitter flavors still approachable.

Pours a mostly transparent copper color into a Spiegelau glass. Lots of lacing. Caramel aroma. Fits its name but not the most bitter beer around. This is very drinkable! Great brew.
