COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Palate Wrecker was originally brewed for the Hamilton’s Tavern 2nd Anniversary celebration. It’s the most complicated West Coast–inspired IPA we have ever brewed—mashing and sparging with hopped wort, in addition to our hop layering regimen for IPA. We use almost 6 lbs/bbl of Columbus and Centennial hops to create this very bitter hop monster (tested at 149 IBU and no extracts in case you were wondering). By popular demand, it is now released for the world to enjoy (even though this beer isn’t for everyone, only the real hop heads!!!). Cheers! - Chuck Silva - Brewmaster - Green Flash Brewing

12oz bottle from Premier Gourmet. Bright and clear bubbly amber-orange with a large, foamy beige lasting head. DIPA - yep: citrus zest, alcohol, dry, light resin - good. Taste follows- this is a big sucker, but it takes its time assaulting the palate - initially, nah, but breathe in and let the oxygen supercharge the hop acids - oh yeah! good stuff. light of body, slick, astringent, only lightly carbonated, but what a long borderline boozy bitter palate-coating finish. This thing has just a light malt backbone - it’s all about the bitterness and alcohol. Well done, you hit your mark.

Good example from IPA kind. herbal aroma and taste. Good body with light brown to bronze colour and very good foam foam which remains.

bottle - Pours lightly hazy amber with a one finger, off-white head and good lacing. It has a good citrus hop aroma. The flavor is very bitter with citrus hop character, a hint of resin, and a solid malt body. It’s very good.

Bottle, 0.355l. Clear amber orange color with large rocky off-white head, good lacing and flat visible carbonation. Aroma of citrus, berries, mango and resin hops. Taste starts with moderate sweet and rich caramel malt, following is resinous with dried fruits’ acidity and well hidden alcohol, mouthfeel is spicy, while finish is heavy bitter with long aftertaste. Full body, oily texture and soft carbonation in palate. Harsh astringent start turns into completely palatable brew, however it’s balanced with huge amount of malts...

From bottle. Pours a dark amber with a big white head. Lost of foamy lacing. Huge malty citrus aroma. Taste is sweet with a big hoppy bitter finish. Lots of malts and caramel, with even more citrus hops. A great big tasty DIPA.

Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, yellow session. 02/05/2014. Bright golden orange coloured pour with small head. Aroma is sweet juicy resinous hops and orange peel. Flavouir is mouth coating resin hops, touch of sweet cara malts, and spicy hop in the finish.Huge lasting hop bitterness is out off balance, but pretty clean,. out of balance and my palate is wrecked.

Hops are well balanced and it drinks surprisingly well. Lives up to it's name though. No beer you drink after can really be distinguished for flavors until halfway through them. Good end of the night IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Golden pour with white head. Smells of malt and a ton of hops. Tastes slightly sweet on the front with a big bitter finish. You can definetly taste the alcohol. Very good
