COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Palate Wrecker was originally brewed for the Hamiltonís Tavern 2nd Anniversary celebration. Itís the most complicated West CoastĖinspired IPA we have ever brewedómashing and sparging with hopped wort, in addition to our hop layering regimen for IPA. We use almost 6 lbs/bbl of Columbus and Centennial hops to create this very bitter hop monster (tested at 149 IBU and no extracts in case you were wondering). By popular demand, it is now released for the world to enjoy (even though this beer isnít for everyone, only the real hop heads!!!). Cheers! - Chuck Silva - Brewmaster - Green Flash Brewing

On tap pours copper color with little head. Smells of ganja, toffee, and slight pine needles. Tastes so amazingly complex and hoppy on many dimensions. It is resinous and sticks to my mouth like a hooker to her pimp. Grassy and piny hop flavors that are showcased on top of firm malty presence.

pours hazy amber orange with a bubbly off white head. aroma is floral, citrus, pine, the hophead trifecta. Wow! The taste is complex. It comes at you in waves. Bitter throughout, but first bright and citrusy, then floral and mildly bittersweet, then into a long bitter finish. Great nasal linger as well. Everything I love in a top shelf IPA. This is one of the best Iíve ever had. Outstanding!

Wow Green Flash. Never disappoint. Pours liquid copper with a just off white head (lace). Fresh potent aromas:caramel, hay, cereal, roasty, resin, floral, spruce, dough, cheese, alcohol, banana, butterscotch, grape fruit, layers of awesome. Taste is so balanced for such a hoppy beer. Palate is near perfect just a bit over sticky (picking nits here). What an awesome brew.

Pours golden, thin white head. Aromas of hay, light fruits (apples, grapes). This lives up to its name! Strong bitter - really hits the tongue, medium-light sweet. Medium body, crisp. Not someone who seeks out the high IBUs but this was still a nice brew.

The grand brewmaster has come down from the mountain top to anoint this beer. So good. Every thing is balanced. Aroma is rich caramel malt with just the exact perfect amount of resin hop to match. Flavorís like nose having enough tang to enhance the bitterness, while not enhancing the relative dryness. Again, itís not that itís dry, itís that itís balanced. Palate is perfect; in fact, Iíve found the perfect match- Miss Vickies Sea Salt & Vinegar Chips with TINY dips of this insanely strong horseradish stuff from northern Wisconsin place called Smugglerís Lounge

Pours a two finger off-white head that fades very slowly leaving a good lace. Crystal clear amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Pine hop nose and flavor is pine hops with a decent amount of caramel/brown sugar. High ABV is hidden. $4.85 for a 12oz bottle from Bertís Better Beers Hooksett, NH.

This is no joke. Super pungent hop aroma as soon as you pour it into the glass. Big citrus, pine and tropical fruit. Taste is super bitter and delicious. Drys your mouth out in a second. This is a hopheads dream. Itís a big beer, but is well balanced and you donít taste the alcohol. Hats off to Green Flash, they know how to make an awesome IPA. Definitely try this if you love big hoppy beers.

12 oz bottle shared with beer buddies. Aroma is a bit hop-medicinal. Bright gold color and clear, with a very small white head. Taste is resin bitter at first, then some nice citrus follows, along with a decent bit of sweetness. The booze is apparent, but not overwhelming. Surprisingly balanced and easy-drinking for a beer of this "magnitude". This one has nicer flavor than some other "in your face" hops beers Iíve tried, and isnít quite a tongue buckling. Very, very well done.

Pours slightly cloudy amber with white head. Aroma is citrusy and piney hops. Very smooth mouthfeel with mellow sweetness supporting an evolving hoppiness. Starts out pretty citrusy, with a long lasting lingering bitterness on the finish. Alcohol is well hidden.
