COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Palate Wrecker was originally brewed for the Hamilton’s Tavern 2nd Anniversary celebration. It’s the most complicated West Coast–inspired IPA we have ever brewed—mashing and sparging with hopped wort, in addition to our hop layering regimen for IPA. We use almost 6 lbs/bbl of Columbus and Centennial hops to create this very bitter hop monster (tested at 149 IBU and no extracts in case you were wondering). By popular demand, it is now released for the world to enjoy (even though this beer isn’t for everyone, only the real hop heads!!!). Cheers! - Chuck Silva - Brewmaster - Green Flash Brewing

Lite ruby in color. Very clear, no particles. Still hoppy smell. Earthy aroma. Very bitter. I know you can only taste bitterness to 80 IBUs, but this just seems so much more bitter than others I’ve had in that range. Earthy flavor. Hops also come through. Hops and bitterness are noticed throughout you’re mouth. I like it. This really well wreck your palate.

Pours a deep dark orangish amber color. Aromas of big hop action, sweet malts, and more hops. Flavor has some bready malty tastes with nice grapefruit and floral hop taste. This is one huge bitter hoppy bastard.

Very bitter, taste like liquor, not an enjoyable brew. Too much hops is too much hops. If that’s what a 99 is to most of you you probably have dead taste buds or are just interested in getting shitfaced. Tone it down boys. For $9.00 a 22oz, I can fun better SD beers for $6.99. I’ll be giving you a run for your money soon green flash. Peace

Prezentacja:
wylatuje z butelki, zmętnione, bursztynowe, piana obfita, osiada jako kołnierz, który zostaje na szkle, potem już słabo je zdobi;
Aromat:
wyraźny słodki - klementynka, rumianek, landrynka, toffi, dobry miód, herbata lipowa;
Odczucie:
ciało wysokie ku średniemu, puszyste, gładkie, średnio nasycone, finisz goryczkowy;
Smak:
najpierw uderza ogromna goryczka trawiasto-alkoholowa, potem do głosu dochodzi owocowa i kwiatowa słodycz, a po odejściu znowu czuć zbyt zalegającą goryczkę;
Ogólnie:
świetny aromat, bardzo przyjemne odczucie, goryczka psuje smak, ale ogólnie niezłe piwo.

It’s a wrecker alright - tons of hops in this beer, citrus (grapefruit, orange, lime), pine and tropical fruits. Very refreshing and very bitter from start to finish.

I love beers with lots of everything and this is really one of those. Great hoppy bitterness and lots of malty sweetness and the perfect amount of sourness. Gooood stuff.

Pours opaque apricot. Off-white head with fine bubbles. Full, oily body. Dry finish. Very, very long bitter aftertaste, with suggestions of nuts and bread. Oddly doesn’t have much aroma.

Another feat GF beer. Way better than Nelson even though hoppier and more bitter. Just seemed so fresh and green hops and pine. The fresh hops eliminated any type of astringency like the Nelson.

Bottle from Mother Kelly, London. Pours light copper yellow. Fruity nose, dominated by grape and pine. Medium body. Big hoppy taste and a beautiful punchy bitterness. Truly a must drink beer.

It pours dark golden with lacing. The aroma features powerful citrus aromas with spruce and floral elements. The flavors feature a greater floral bite with spruce, citrus, and fruit peel. It is extremely hoppy with a high bitter feel on the palate.Overall the combinations of hops and well complimented.
