4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 omhper (17478) - Stockholm, - AUG 31, 2012Bottled at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy pale amber, rich firm head. Tremendous aroma of swety tropical fruits and pink grapfruit. Medium-full body and soft, inviting mouthfeel. Loads of juicy hops. Intense, yet pleasant. Severe but never punishing bitterness. Green Flash has a way of making also very extreme beers acceaaible and drinkable.

If you’re looking for hops, this one is a must try; it’s awesome! Aroma is super hoppy with elements of floral, resin, pine, citrus rind, earthy, and a malt undertone. Taste is complex with blistering hop character of piney, resin, slight citrus rind, and an earthy malt foundation. Finish is thick, complex, developing, with a slight bit of bitter chewiness. Really excellent but not for the faint of heart.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 hawkshadow (106) - Rural Retreat, Virginia, USA - MAY 23, 2013
What a delicious IPA type. Very fresh hop flavor. This has a very light ale flavor with a fist in your face clean hop.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Brewdork (57) - Sanford, Florida, USA - MAY 23, 2013
Pours orange-amber with generous white head. Strong citrusy-hop aroma. Flavor is bright, citrusy hops followed by a smooth malty middle and a pleasantly bitter finish. If you’re not a hop-head, don’t get within 20 yards of this. Actually you probably shouldn’t even be reading this.
3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 HopRedHead (123) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAY 23, 2013
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours amber orange with a nice thick 2cm of off-white head. Really attractive beer. Nose is huge grapefruit, unripe passionfruit, pine needles and resin. Taste contains an upfront hop bitterness, grapefruit acidity and citrusy sweetness. Pretty offensive bitterness, I can see what they’re trying to do here, but halfway through I was pretty over it. However, brilliant aroma and would be perfect to share!
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Hoppypocket (112) - Trois-rivieres, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 22, 2013
Pours a clear copper with white head and nice lacing. aroma of grapefruits, caramel, resinous hops. Taste has the same grapefruits, light caramel, resinous hops, dry finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. I normaly like my DIPA around 7-8% but this one hides the alcool really well and isnt too sweet like some heavier ones. Well done!
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Baz7778 (58) - SCOTLAND - MAY 21, 2013
Big and does what the label says. Seems to lose some of the hop hit with age given it being consumed in NZ.

This is an amazing DIPA. The aroma is off the charts. Lots of citrus. The flavor is very well rounded. I love the centennial hops and the balance with the malts is perfect. Great beer.

Amber pour with white head. Aroma is big citrus and piney hops, malt in the background. Taste is the same - as mentioned below a big west coast style DIPA. I quite like it. I found there was just enough balance to cut the extremely bitter hops. Still couldn’t drink a lot, but quite tasty.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 canary dog (582) - Rutland, Vermont, USA - MAY 20, 2013
Big, piney, rich, and malty. Very well balanced hops and malt. However, it doesn’t come across as too sweet, bitter, or alcoholic. An impressive achievement.
