Smell have lots of lemon/bret, citrus and pine hops. Taste is light on malts, some vegetable, citrus, bret, very dry. Med body. Dry after taste with a clean citrus, but not sour. Interesting stuff, and not bad.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 thefederalist (277) - Jonesboro, Arkansas, USA - JUN 19, 2013
Bottle. Pours with a gigantic head into the little plastic mouthwash cup they gave me at the liquor store. Aroma is hoppy. Flavor is sour and bitter with some nice yeast notes in the finish. This is another overly hopped Belgian style ale, in my opinion. American brewers, restrain yourselves. Some of what the Belgians had right was restraint.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 yiannnos (501) - , CYPRUS - JUN 19, 2013
Feels like an over carbonated orval with american citrusy hops.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Jimmythespoon (330) - CYPRUS - JUN 18, 2013
Poured into tulip glass, high carbonation. Funky tarty aroma, sour tasty with a touch of bitterness, once your pallet gets used to this it’s actually very nice!
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 SlackerMads (567) - DENMARK - JUN 17, 2013
Bottle. Unclear light orange with a huge foamy off white head. Strong bretty nose with some tropical fruit beneath. Aroma follows, though not as bretty as expected from the nose, leaving room for fruity notes. Ends a bit abrupt, but good and refreshing. Taste is medium sweet and light/medium bitter. Medium body, oily texture, medium carbonation. Good balance between sweet, bitter and dry makes good drinkability.
3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Davhgbrew (458) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Malty aroma. Dark amber appearance. Quite hoppy and floral, but well balanced.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 camborne (343) - Hopkins, Minnesota, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Pour slowly, some crazy carbonation going on. Huge banana nose for me. Predominantly banana and clove with lemon and crisp apple also. Nice hops balance this one. Solid
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Miked1687 (271) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUN 15, 2013
Bottle Poured into glass. Huge aggressive head. Pour extremely slow! Hazy yellow pour with a huge sudsy white head. Lemon and citrus hops dominate the nose. Taste is lemon and citrus up front that moves into a hot malt body with some brett funkiness and a bitter lemon hop finish. Lots of carbonation. Crisp.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 mrhoppy (902) - Santa Clara, California, USA - JUN 9, 2013
I can see why people like this beer. I think it is a bit overrated though. I like the sour aroma. There is something soapy I don’t like. Nice to look at. A color that says hops. Grapefruit rind. Can’t say I would want to revisit this again. It gave me a massive headache.
2.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 swevrywhere (3) - Washington, USA - JUN 6, 2013 does not count
While I appreciate the Belgian characteristics here, it is much too hoppy. The hops just kind of dominate everything and it is not very balanced so it makes me kind of disappointed :-(

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Temptation (136) - - JUN 6, 2013
Amber color, very white, soapy and lasting head. Marked lace. Yeasty aromas, slightly acid cider-like. This overpass any other aroma. The taste is rough, also yeasty like horse blanket and some hops. Refreshing, well carbonated, but in the overall is unbalanced and hoi-poloi. Forgettable.
