COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If Green Flash were founded in historical Belgium, Rayon Vert would have been our flagship brew. A bold layering of hops finds balance from traditional malts. Bottle conditioning with fresh ale yeast and Brettanomyces finishes the beer, adding a delightful effervescence, dryness and continuously evolving character. Rayon Vert is Green Flash.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of lemony, hay, caramel, yeast, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, yeast, spices, caramel, fruits, and hops, leading to a dry yeasty finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Papsoe (25085) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 23, 2012
Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours golden with a slight haze and a rich and frothy white head leaving a neat lacework. Heavy Brett aroma, rough and leathery. Medium body, a very dry fruitiness, massive Brett, has a somewhat unfortunate chemical tang - probably from the Brett. Somewhat astringent, again massive leather. Sort of an Orval clone, just far from that beers sophistication. 230512

Bottled, from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Hazy golden, lively coarse head. Evident brettanomycaes aroma with swety dried orange peels. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Rich and alive, pleasant and Orval-y. Some floral hops, mid bitter finish. Subtly complex. Wonderful!

Hazy amber beer, massive off white head. Palate is light and a little crisp. Lots of seltzer minerals and Belgian yeast! Loads! A little citrus is well buried but stops it getting too one dimensional. Finishes crispy. Bitterish yeast aftertaste. Quite drinkable!

Bottle at Hops, New Westminster
Hazy golden to amber color, with a slowly gushing bottle, and generous head. The aroma is extremely spicy, full of coriander, indeed pleasant. It’s quite full bodied, with spicy malt flavor, quite aggressive; it has a light fruity touch, bitter oranges, and the bitterness level is high.
A Californian take, not the same as a true Belgian, but nice.
