This was very delicious. Iíve been enjoying the pale ale/belgian fusion that Green Flash has done in the past with Le Freak. This seems like a more pedestrian version thatíll let me still type in beer ratings and surf the web as opposed to being in bed, zonked, on Le Freak. The smell is right in between. Is it s Duvel Trip or is al a Pale? Taste hits you with hops and fades away to yeasty goodness. Diggin it. This deserves a 6 pack in the future. None of this 4 pack nonsense.

Bottle in Iowa. Way to much funk, made ir awful for me. Brett or something overwhelmed me

Massive carbonation requiring a slow pour and still resulting in a sizable head. Aroma musty hay & funk from the Brett & citrus from the hops. Taste is funk, lemon zest, coriander, with some good body from the malt & a light sourness in the finish. Not too bad.

UPDATED: DEC 14, 2013 12 oz bottle from Tipsyís into my Funkwerks glass. Orange and cloudy with a big, lasting white head. Aroma is tart, funky, fruity, bretty and lightly sour, quite enticing. Similar flavor with an earthy bitterness and a dry feel. Refreshing and tasty as fuck.

Sweet lemon aroma, huge bone white foam at first pour this beer has the Belgian yeast, malty body and green hop aftertaste. Easier drinker, lighter than expected.

12 oz bottle poured into a trappist glass. Huge head formed from massive carbonation, took 4 pours to get it all out of the bottle. Decent aroma, nothing too funky going on here. Taste is crisp and thin. Good beer, will enjoy again.

Green flash pale ales have this really recognizable house aroma. I like this more than their friendship brew. It has a Belgian flavor but not as easily found as I am used to. Pretty resiny and dank hops. There was a relentless cloud of head when I poured. Ok combination of the green flash taste with Belgian style. Not fantastic

Not my favorite style, but decided to give a single a try from Archer Liquors in Chicago. Massive head is probably an understatement. Taste is pretty weird to me, hops, orange peel and a medicinal / sour taste. Hey, I can say I tried it.

Supposedly an Orval clone, but I find the aftertaste more appealing than that of Orval. Pours with tremendous head settling into a nice copper color. The aroma and taste are quite similar to a great Brittany brut cider.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A hazed golden amber ale with a thick frothy and lacing light mocha head. In aroma, loads if Brett yeast over biscuit malt, green grass, orange pulp, and floral hops, very nice. In mouth, a beautiful example of the genre with lightly sweet Belgian malt with good Brett presence, soil, floral hops, very smooth yet complex. Well done!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber pour w/ a huge foamy head. Aroma is bready & a little funky. Taste is highly carbonated which takes away from some of the nice underlying Belgian notes. Not sure if I got a bad bottle?
