Pours a nice brown color with off-white head. Rye spice, pine, citrus, and hay on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a rye spice bite.

Appearance: Pours a dark brown.

Taste: Medium bitterness, lots of rye.
Palate:Medium body, a little oily, lingering aftertaste.

Summary: More on the rye side than citrus side for a rye ipa/dipa, interesting stuff.

Burnt orange to red in color. Nice Mosaic nose with light tropical fruit mixed with some citrus, grapefruit and a hefty dose of spicy rye and caramel malt. Flavor is sticky pine and citrus with mild grapefruit and tropical fruit. More of the sticky toasted malt, caramel and rye. Residual resin. Sticky, clingy. Very nice!

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but is a recent release. Pours fairly crystal clear deep ruby red/copper color with a 1 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, mango, pineapple, orange peel, caramel, spicy rye, bread, floral, grass, light pine, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate caramel/rye malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, orange peel, caramel, spicy rye, bread, floral, grass, pine, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of floral/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, peach, pineapple, orange peel, caramel, spicy rye, bread, pine, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity and robustness of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate caramel/rye malt sweetness; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a moderately creamy and lightly slick/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent rye DIPA. All around great complexity and balance of citrus/tropical hops and caramel/rye malt sweetness; and very smooth to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

22oz custom bomber pours with a red to amber body that supports a light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up spicy hops, some thin citrus hoppiness and a nice little rye twang followed by some mild maltiness. The taste starts with a pleasing mix of grapefruit, spicy hops and dank hoppy goodness. Those mouth watering hoppy notes are backed up by a modest sweet malty base. This has a pleasing balance between resiny bitter hops and flavor hops where the thin base holds it altogether. Yes.

A very punchy, grassy nose. The core taste profile includes rather dank, grassy hops, rye spiciness and some dark malt with some sweetness. I wasn’t expecting the grassiness but it creates a nice complexity.
