Dark amber with tall, thick foamy head. Herbal hop aroma. Taste is sweet caramel malt and a hefty punch of citrus, piney, pungent hops. The rye gives it an edge. Like it much! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a rusted copper almost to a brown with light, clinging head. Aroma of lots of citrus hops. Delivers a full mouthfeel with medium carbonation that's deeply satisfying and lingers on the palate. Great malt sweetness balances but doesn't overwhelm the immense hops that are here to party ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Poured a dark amber color with generous head. Aroma of caramel, citrus hop. A creamy texture with some hop resin leading to a clean bitter finish. Some grapefruit citrus taste. Pretty good. Canít pick out rye though.

Bottle from The Bottle Shop, Bermondsey. It pours clear deep mahogany with a thick light tan head. The nose is bitter-sweet, spicy rye bread, juicy resin, pine, toffee, citrus peel and fruit cake. The taste is bitter, piney, spicy, resin, pine, boozy bite, crystal malt, toffee, grapefruit peel, peppery notes with a lingering bitter-boozy finish. Medium+ body, moderate carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Pretty punchy. Errs towards the sweet side also. Iím not 100% sold on the balance. Alright.

Draft at Strangeloves. Keg presented with a clear dark ruby pour with an overflowing off-white head. Strong dark complex citrus pour with great bubblegum notes. Dark, wonderful, deep vinous notes. Worth trying over and over.

35 cl bottle @ home. Pours clear reddish amber with an off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are resin, pine, citrus, and caramel - with a bitter finish.

Poured at home from a 45d bottle into Dogfish IPA glass. Deep amber with off-white creamy head with nice retention and lacing. Bold aromas with sweet resiny caramel combined with citrusy and piney hops. Medium mouthfeel coats the palate with subtle carbonation but big flavor. An awesome blend of spicy malts and bitter hops. The palate is a tad bitter but overall this is really an enjoyable brew. Does Green Flash ever disappoint? I still haven't found a time. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A great brew across the board. Looks more like a hoppy red or bArleywine. Smells of rye, spicy earthy hops, light tropical fruit and bread. Flavor much the same. Super hopped yet balanced. Goes down too easy for a beer this size. Best thing about it is how unique it is within the fairly large repertoire of green flash hoppy brews
