On tap at Fireworks. Pours a clear dark orange with head that left ample lacing. Aroma is hop and rye notes. Flavor is big and bold rye PA. Alcohol well masked. Dangerously drinkable.

6/27/2014: Green Flash Road Warrior comes across big and heavy and will just about run you down with flavor and alcohol. I was hoping for a bit less, but this beer is dangerously drinkable given the alcohol content. Greeen Flash always seems to deliver solid beers and this one is no exception. From the shiny ruby-amber color, to the rich, spicy citrusy flavor, to the smooth, velvety mouthfeel, this beer delivers on all levels for it’s size. Moderate bitterness overall, but the hop flavors complement each other and the rye and hefty malt base nicely. Delicious. Snifter (draught) at The Brass Tap in Cincinnati, Ohio.

This works really well excellent beer. Create hoppy aroma with some nice malt to balance. Flavor's like aroma. Killer body. Super drinkable. Just an outstanding brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This red brown beer has a strong citrus aroma and sweetness like berries. It has a big hop profile but is balanced by a creamy flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A great rye IPA. Pours a deep amber-red with a grey head. Smells of rye, hops, blueberries and cherries. Taste creamy and a bit fruity upfront, with some hops in the finish. Very well balanced. Paired with fig prosciutto pizza, the hops are more evident. Had in the bottle.

On tap at Bigelo’s. Dark copper with a one finger beige creamy head. A citrusy aroma. That citrus was big throughout the flavor. Grapefruit and tropical. Classic west coast IPA. Big bitterness. Rye gave it an offset and took it in a different direction. This was a nice beer and a big one in both flavor and ABV.

Bottle- pours clear deep copper, milky khaki head that persists. Tasty looking beer. On the nose, spicy rye malts, piney funky hops, herbal notes with some yeast. Nice full body. Caramel and rye malt sweetness with grittiness, almost dirty hop bitterness. Sneaky drinkability at 9%abv as there's no heat on the finish. Dug this ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle. Pours clear ruby copper red with a huge creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is spicy rye, sweet nutty caramel malts, and resiny piney hops. Fades as it sits in the glass.

The flavor is spicy rye and sweet caramel malt with a big resiny, slightly charred hop bitterness. Some plastic notes come out as it sits. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a nice hoppy double red with some rye. Better a little cold, fades as it sits.
