Bottle [660ml] shared with HogTownHarry, jerc & mabel -- c/o HogTownHarry. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with lots of bubbles and a large lasting fizzy white head. Lovely aroma is spicy, yeasty and herbal along with some citrus fruit and bready malt. Flavour is herbal, spicy and yeasty along with some citrus -- easy to drink and tasty. Average to medium bodied. A very good Saison!

Bottle @ Brewdog Edinburgh. Pours golden with a nice head. The nose has the expected farmyard and green hoppy/apple notes. There’s more of the same on the taste. So, it’s typical saison but perhaps it’s a little low on alcohol to have the balance I’d prefer. I think the sour yeast and bitter hops combination is a little too much. It could do with just a little sweetness. Overall, solid but not one I’ll choose to have again.

from Erzbierschof - clear pale golden beer with no head retention; a light and charming spicy nose where the componants are difficult to identify; light perfumy, moderate malt backbone , lively palate, fresh and quite dry; pretty long spicy and perfumy finish with a light tart acidity - charming and refreshing

Poured from a bomber, light golden color with good carbonation and a decent white head. Aroma of lemon, yeast, grain, spice. Taste is sweet with a bitter finish, spices, ginger, and coriander. Very smooth and light saison, with some good spiciness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a rather thick white head. Nose has a bit of spice and citrus to it. Taste is much the same, with just a slight tinge of sour. Reasonably smooth.

glennmastrange (2226) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JAN 17, 2013
Bottle. Moderate aromas all around, with light bread and grain for the malt, herbs and lemon for the hops, barnyard for the yeast, and coriander, pepper and a hint of coconut on the background. Head is large, fizzy/frothy, white with good thick lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is sparkling clear but hazy on the last pour, light yellow/amber. Flavor starts faintly sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a fizzy carbonation. Light and refreshing, this Saison spicy overtone to it.

Nice aroma, like a hefeweiss almost, without the bannana. spice, citrus and baked bisquit aroma. Deep cloudy golden color, very full off white head (poured into a Duvel glass). Creamy mouthfeel entrance, then turns a bit zippy and citrusy, almost like a radler. Medium light body, and has a very refreshing element, as is the style for this kind of beer. Constant undertow of bisquit malt and yeast , overlapped by citrus , tangerine, lemon, and some slight cloves. Yeast is also predominant, slight bittering hops at the end. Green Flash has a winner as usual.
