A solid triple, sweet and bready and a bit boozy. A nice spice note at first and finishes smooth. Solid overall

Draught at Copper Hog, Bellingham, WA
Hazy golden color. Chewing gum aroma. Typical American interpretation of Belgian styles; it’s sweet, with a lot of banana (really???), and boozy finish. Off the mark, for me, undrinkable.

On draught.
Pours a Lightly hazy yellow with a big head and good lacing!

The aroma is huge & sweet with a great floral character, some spice & raw malt. It’s got a little honey & a little wet limestone.

The flavor is spicy with plenty of fruitiness, most particularly banana. Thankfully it’s not cloying, but it is sweet with a mildly dry finish. The styrian hops are well employed to add an herbal bitterness and a general leafy character.

On tap at Harry’s Hofbrau. Very sweet Belgian candi sugar with moderate spice and restrained wheat malt. Clear gold with no head. Taste is massive candi sugar, overpoweringly so. Medium thin mouthfeel. Alcohol warmth moderately strong. Missed the plot a little here.

Draught at the Tasting Room in San Diego. Clear golden beer with a nice lasting offwhite head. Malty caramel aroma, yeasty, citrus, grapes, gloral, spicy notes. Malty caramel flavor, spicy, yeasty, grass, red apples, grapes, citrus, biscuits, some toffee. Drinkable with alcohol well hidden, but kinda sweet.
