Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent gold with thin white lacing. Smells doughy, spicy, and yeasty with a touch of citrus. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Not bad.

Just ok for me here. In the same category as tommy knockers "saison"... This had the makings of a refreshing beer... Light and spritzie.. Some tartness but it really wasn't an enjoyable or refreshing beer. It has a little saison funk but in an unclear unpalatable way. I'd pass on it if I could do it again. Like a tart old style that been exposed to some high temps and is a wee bit past its best by date... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great lawn mower beer. Highly carbed and super light with a fair Snow White head. Aptly named ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Gainesville HOB. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with small fluffy head. Aroma of straw, citrus, banana, ginger. Flavor is very refreshing banana straw citrus. Lingering bite on the palate. Light bodied and perfect for a sunny 93 degree day. High carbonation. A nice summer beer and loads of flavor for the ABV.

On tap at Tampa Bay Brewing Co, pours a hazy golden yellow color with a small head. Nose is spicy with cardamine and hops . Taste is spicy with cardamine and ginger. Finish lingers with the same spices, very drinkable saison. Quaff Score 8 / 10

Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma shows off the spice and has a gentleness to it. There is a bit of earthy farmhouse presence, a bit of spicy hops and some clean citrus. Medium / light crisp body with lots of carbonation that’s fairly soft. The taste starts off with spiciness (ginger up front), buggy husky saison yeast, mild citrus and spicy hops. Very crisp and clean for a saison. The finish has more of the spicy hoppiness and a touch of nectar fruits. I wouldn’t put this up against the best of the saison pack, but for a reasonably priced 4 pack that’s this low in alcohol, it is a great hot weather beer that has a nice amount of flavor.

In short: A grassy, doughy and not-so-rustic thirst blond ale ruined by a rhubarb flavor. Problematic bottle or problematic beer?
How: Bottle 22oz, consumed approximately 4 months after purchase.
The look: Clear golden-blond body topped by a large white head with medium retention and leaving lots of lacings on the glass.
In long: Nose is dusty, dry grassy spicy hops (Saaz-ish), fruity esters or red apples, countryside fleld. Far from an intense aroma but quite inviting nonetheless. Taste is somewhat doughy (bread dough, cookie dough), notes of banana purée, juicy apples, floral honey, yeasty, chewing on green plants (rhubarb-ish). Finish is moderately dry and with a grassy bitterness of medium intensity. Not super rustic but still Saison enough to deserve its classification. Rather full chewy body (for a below 5% brew) with plenty of very soft bubbles. All that would be fine but there was this green plant after-taste (again, rhubarb-ish) that ruined my enjoyment of the beer. Too bad because there was really a nice thirst beer in there. Even if I didn’t enjoy the beer I am curious to try it again because this could a very nice thirst beer without the annoying green rhubarb flavor I got in my bottle. I told a friend this beer should be a good because it is written Saison on it, he each bought a bottle and we both didn’t like it, I really need to start learning from the mistakes of people who listen my advice.

Fresh bottle from S.D. Very refreshing, pleasant, and easy-to-drink beer. Light malt flavors with just the right amount of sweetness. Bright notes of lemongrass, spices and white pepper. Orange peel and ginger are perfectly in the background, along with a balanced bitterness. Slight funk and yeast back there, too. A good saison and a fantastic 4.5-percent beer.

Deuce from binnys beverage depot, Schaumburg, IL. Mildly hazy straw yellow pour with a few inches of white foamy head. Tons of small bubbles rising from the glass bottom. Aroma in order of strength: sweet/sour grape or berries, banana and faint clove-y yeast, sour malts, fragrant flowers. Pretty sour, tart and dry mouth feel. Average carbonation for the style. Finish is wetter than a Zinfandel but still dry overall. Sour tart of raspberries but very subtle. Rye-like or brett-y yeast and salty malt mix, again subtle. Effervescent and light. Pretty average but not bad. Good summer alternative to a wheat beer.
