Pours a cloudy orange, with a thick, creamy off white head. The aroma is pretty funky, lots of orange citrus, and mild acidity. The flavor was more of the funk, some tartness, with good doses of that orange citrus. The brett was quite evident throughout as its funkiness was its most unique character. Pretty interesting and nicely drinkable, but not mind blowing.

On tap at OBrien’s next to Little Freak. I like Little Freak a little better, but both are excellent. Yellow orange color. Mild sourness. Orange peel hop bitterness. Easy to drink. Low carbonation. Excellent.

On tap at the Linkery, poured opaque golden orange with a two finger tight bubbled head. Tart, sour Bret funk nose. Flavor similar, but less complex or full. Some citrus acidity and tartness from mid to finish.

On tap @ The Linkery. Cloudy copper-orange color, thin persistent white head. Light palate, lightly carbonated. Light funk and citrus present on the aroma, very light Belgian yeast tones. Taste was mainly a tart funk and Belgian yeast show, backed by some sweetness. The hops come out more in the finish, accenting the brett nicely.

Served on tap at O’Brien’s during SDBW. The appearance is a pale golden orange with a bigger white head. The Brett jumps out pronouncedly in the nose. Sweet tarts, lemon, pale and golden malts. The flavors follow with lemon, sweet-tarts, malty, light hop additions, and a drying oak. Medium to full bodied mouth that is well carbonated. Very refreshing ale.

Pours a moderately flat golden orange. Nose was nice, mostly belgian yeast, hints of hoppiness. Taste was superb, nice moderate sweet base, big belgian yeast flavors, not a lot of fruity esters, mostly earhtiness, good hop bitterness, fruity and earthy hop flavor, mixed with moderate sweetness.

On-tap at Stone Sour Fest. 1st taster, high hopes, let down for me. Pours cloudy brown/orange with a big creamy white head, good spider web lace. Smells of some characteristic Brett and barrel smells, vinegar, and sour. Tastes bretty, sour and a little funky. Sour malty, no sign of the hops. Thin body, weak carbonation.

Draught at Blind Tiger. Cloudy gold amber with very lacy white head. Super lacy. Aroma of light basement funk, barn/hay, light toasted grains. Taste is brett funky going medium bitter in finish. Medium carbonation, good liveliness on tongue. Hides booze very well, dangerous.

Stone Sourfest 2010. Warm amber and white head. Nose is light funk sour and white grapes. Taste is light funk and wine hints. Lightly sticky in the mouth, and nice jump of spiciness as it opens up. Just OK for me.

Co-rate! Tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Bright yellow. Aroma of grass and licorice. Subtle barnyard flavor. Decent.
