Stone Sourfest 2010. Warm amber and white head. Nose is light funk sour and white grapes. Taste is light funk and wine hints. Lightly sticky in the mouth, and nice jump of spiciness as it opens up. Just OK for me.

Co-rate! Tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Bright yellow. Aroma of grass and licorice. Subtle barnyard flavor. Decent.

Draft at OBriens. Translucent orange hue, no sustaining head. Nose is big fruits, wood tones, malt, and alcohol. Flavor is sweet fruits with alcohol heat initially, transitions to a bready malt and citrus hop combo with spices and a hefty woody profile, slight traces of Bret funk and wine oak, finishes sweet and fruity. Medium-full body, thick texture, medium carbonation. A wonderfully complex IIPA complemented by hints of funk and oak, alcohol presence is a bit tough though.

(Sour Monday - Triple Rock) Draft. Slight aroma. Slight rubber flavor. Orange body. Fairly smooth flavors. Nothing that really pushed my buttons.

Great beer! Well done Belgian IPA. Aroma is sweet, full of hops, but banana too. Flavor is balanced. Well hidden alcohol.

A hazed dark amber pour with about a half finger of lacing off white head. Sweet aroma with lots of fruit, spice, and bits of sour and ester. Great flavor, full bodied, acidic fruit with hints of brett and a long lasting tart finish. Crisp amazing beer.

On tap at Downtown Johnny Brown’s. Brett aroma strong in the nose. Comes thru in the taste, but not overwhelmingly so. Grenache barrel aged - you catch very subtle hints of both the Grenache and the barrel. Pleasant additions, not distractions. This was easily one of my favorite "Brett" beers ever.

Stone Sourfest. Very original concept. Definately hoppy and sour on the finish. I don’t think i’ve tasted anything quite like it.
