On tap at Dexters, pours a clear amberish copper with an off white head, the aroma catches you right away, a good amount of tartness with funk and fruit as well, the flavor has a sweet yet hoppy front end, strange I know but it works, the brett really comes through in the finish, dry yet refreshing at the same time, the wine doesn’t completely shine through, but you can tell it’s a little different, not bad at all.

Tap at cbc14. Pours Hella clean amber. Small White head. Aroma is both sour and bitter. Trippel and brett notes really shine through. Taste has Heavy red wine, bitter hops, sour in a not so fruity way. Red Wine is very Heavy, and there are some really deep notes in this one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled at the Stone Sour Fest. Not very sour at first. Aromas were yeasty Belgian style. Flavors were somewhat hoppy with just a touch of sour on the finish. Not too bad. But not as sour as what we were having that day.

Pours a cloudy orange, with a thick, creamy off white head. The aroma is pretty funky, lots of orange citrus, and mild acidity. The flavor was more of the funk, some tartness, with good doses of that orange citrus. The brett was quite evident throughout as its funkiness was its most unique character. Pretty interesting and nicely drinkable, but not mind blowing.

Draft. Slightly hazy amber beer with a big cream colored head. Tart, green apple aroma with light spice. Tart, green apple flavor with malt/wheat, spice, light lemon and just a bit of wine coming through. Medium bodied. Tartness lingers with yeast and spice, green apple, and light lemon.

On tap at Stone’s Green Flash takeover. Clear gold with an off white head. Aroma of lactic acid, brett, wheat and light lemon. The flavor is sour, some lactic and brett with a light malt and hop presence. Medium to light body with active carbonation and a crisp, tart, refreshing finish. Amazing, this thing drinks like a light Berliner Weisse, alcohol completely hidden and very refreshing.

Co-rate! Tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Bright yellow. Aroma of grass and licorice. Subtle barnyard flavor. Decent.
