The working man’s porter, a careful malt mix of Pale, Munich, Biscuit, Chocolate, Crystal and Roasted! Together with a 35 IBU dose of East Kent Goldings, the brew is rich in flavour with a delightful roast malt character with sturdy alcohol support.

On tap at brewery. Pours a black-brown with a small tan head. Aroma is of roasted malts, coco, and some light coffee. Taste is of roasted malts, coco, coffee, caramel malts, and some molasses. Has a medium body with a slightly creamy mouhtfeel and a semi dry, slightly bitter finish. overall, a decent, drinkable porter.

Park West Porter on tap at PPD. Pours a nearly opaque deep brown with some thin, off white head. Nose is interesting, almost a hint of sourness, toast, malt, straw, light nut. Flavor has no sourness Which Is good, some toasted wheat, a little cherry, malt, bread, black pepper, smoke. Dry finish. A little strange for my taste.

Tap at brewery (Park West Porter). Pours a deep brown colour, almost black, and a thin off white head. Aroma is heavy in coffee and chocolate with some light roasted malt scents. Taste is malty sweet with a lingering dry bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation and a smooth mouth feel. Really nice porter, quite enjoyable overall.

Draft at Neighborhood, San Diego. Slightly thin, translucent brown. Dark roast malts and some hops on nose. Decent porter, but a bit light on the chocolate and dark roast malt profile and a bit heavy on the hops. Okay, not their best.

Draft. Poured black with a medium-sized tan head. Aroma was herbal, floral, earthy hops, some roasted malt, and faint coffee. Coffee and a hint of chocolate come out in the flavor. Less roasty malt than most porters, but I do like the earthy English hops. Medium body.

Draft at brouwerij lane. Beautiful lace on this black beauty. Nice soft roast and milk chocolate with that hint of lactic sour. Flavor is more roasty and and spicy bitter. Less sweet. fairly soft but not particularly full or lively feel. Great. But.

This one poured a medium brown color with a beige head. Aroma was of light roast, chocolate, and mild hops. Flavor was watery, and brown malt, not really porterish im looking for.

Park west porter. Black pour with no head when I received it. Roasty aroma with a bit of chocolate. Chalky tasting with a pretty decent chocolate and roast malt flavour but not a standout for these guys
