3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Review from backlog, tasted 08/14/2011. Pours translucent copper, fluffy white head with great retention and lacing. Aroma is fresh, soft yeasty nose with herbal hops, brighter citrus notes as well, and lighter biscuit malts. Taste follows the nose, with more citrus hop flavor coming through, light malt backbone and finally a hint of brett. Thin in the mouth, but sharp and crisp, creamy carbonation, fairly drinkable. Enjoyed this one.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden pour, fluffy head. Aroma of belgian yeast, some spice, funky notes. Flavor is a mix of a golden ale and a light funky saison. Interesting but certainly not amazing.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Another brew thanks to Terminus at the Annual Black Friday tasting. It pours deep clear gold with a giant light tan head of billowing foam. The aroma offers up apples, pears and some tart acidic lemon to almost lime notes. The taste is somewhat tart and a little earthy lime. It then picks up additional thin notes of sweet apple and pear off in the background. Tasty stuff. I’d do this again.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer reminds me of both a Belgian golden ale and a Saison... relatively low hop profile, but definitely there. Belgian yeast predominates.
