It poured a deep golden body having a steady stream of rising bubbles and a thick head with rings of lace measuring the size of each drink. The nose was sweet with honey, pale malt, red stone fruits, and a touch of oranges. The flavor had the addition of alcohol, warm spices, and a light floral bitterness. Very nice. kmweaver (2440), Sebastopol, California, USA

Pours a slightly hazy, orange color; off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Solid amounts of honey, white pepper, and dried oranges in the aroma. Lively carbonation. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: chewy amounts of candy sugar, dried oranges, and white pepper; a touch rough at the edges, with a bit of alcohol; still reasonably generous and tasty. Lengthy finish: dried orange peel, citrus, and peppery spice; nicely dry. keepersj12 (790), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 17, 2008 Nice citrus aroma mixed in with some nice yeasty notes, with a good dose of hops. FLavor is much the same, big notes of belgian yeast, citrus, and some american hops. Interesting take on the style, but not my favorite.
