Green Flash Trippel

Hazy orange amber with a full two-finger head. spotty lacing, and the thinnest of retention. Spices and yeast highlight the aroma, with hints of tart apples and pears.Yeast from an overly aggressive pour was strong on the palate, which kind of dominated what probably would have been a pleasant honey sweetness and apple tartness backed up by citrus and spices. My bad. Light bodied, medium carbonation, and the sweetness lingers.

light gold color, slight white head, somewhat lacy. nose of fruity, yeasty nose. well blended flavor of fruit, spice, malt. medium bodied, sour, bitter finish. quite amusing, complex and well blended, with well hidden alcohol. sample @ beer tasting @ family liquors in homewood.

Tap diggidy. Citrus aroma, with grainy malt. Flavor similar, nice brew, would have again.

On tap at Rattle’n’Hum. Floral aroma. Dark gold pour. The flavor has hops, Belgian yeast, and a touch of smoke. Some warmth on the palate. This is a very good American abbey ale.

Bottle: Drank with rsamayoa while watching CFB, the beer was great and the aggies getting beat was a plus. Food Pairing: Quiche.

Tap. Aroma a bit overly clovey, but has pleasant orange and bready notes behind. Flavor more relaxed on the clove-spice note, more in its place alongside sweet, bready malt, grassy notes, and citrus. Pretty good American effort.

This bottled brew from Patrick 767 at a rating party poured a medium sized head of foamy off-white colored bubbles that were and left behind a hazy light orange brown colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish. The nice flavor contained notes of malt and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

Pours hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma of belgian yeast, clove, coriander, some banana. Good balanced flavor and an excellent tripel.
