Commercial Description:
Rich pale malt flavors provide a solid base for zesty Styrian Golding and Czech Saaz hopping. Trappist ale yeast contributes the fruity, spicy profile of classic, monk-brewed, Belgian ales. Our Trippel is luscious, fiery, golden brew and a contemporary rendition of traditional Belgian Trippel.

22 oz bomber. Pours with a thick, chunky head-slowly disappaites. Light copper color with a spicy, bright nose. Tastes of malts, spices, and is a very smooth and easy drinking beer. Fully body that holds all the way. Alcohol is well hidden for this high ABV. A very good American tripel.

22oz. Bottle: Lightly sweet aroma. Smells of yeast, coriander, spices, herbs, and a little grass. Poured amber in color with a big, frothy, off-white head that lasted throughout. Great lacing. Hazy with particles. Sparkling. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of wood, yeast, honey, spices, malts, and a little alcohol. Medium to full body. Thick texture. Average carbonation. Short, honey-sweet finish. Overall, an ok Trippel.

Initially fruity sweet and drying hoppy finish. Creamy mouthfeel though lagerish in the finish. Satisfying, orange and peach and bannana, honey and sugar, with lace and nice head. Aromas are yeasty and orange, with alcohol.I still never met a trippel I did not like.

Moderately cloudy orange-tinged yellow. Relatively small amount of medium-grained heard which sticks around for quite awhile. Big aroma of vanilla, pipe tobacco, light bubblegum and bananas, augmented with some whiffs of spiciness and yeasty funk as well. Upon initial sip, flavor is more estery than the aroma, coating your mouth with boozy, slightly metallic bananas and fresh bread. Finishes with spicy bitterness and a profound amount of nostril-searing alcohol, plainly evident even at the lower end of the temperature range sampled. The carbo levels are right but the roughness at the end makes the finish almost abusive.
