Rich pale malt flavors provide a solid base for zesty Styrian Golding and Czech Saaz hopping. Trappist ale yeast contributes the fruity, spicy profile of classic, monk-brewed, Belgian ales. Our Trippel is luscious, fiery, golden brew and a contemporary rendition of traditional Belgian Trippel.

Bottle. Golden clear with good initial head and a little lace. Aroma of orange, spice, fresh bread & yeast, a little barn hay funk. The flavor is malty sweet with moderate bitterness and astringency with mostly flavors of . Body is soft but turns mostly dry and spicy. Really easy drinking and pleasant hoppy trippel.

This was a really good beer. Pours a vibrant and opaque amber hue with a big frothy white head. Aromas consisting of fruit (apricot, peach, light citrus) and some funk. Good normal Tripel flavors with some noble hop presence as well; giving it a slight Bohemian Pilsner-like finish. Medium bodied.

Pours a bright golden yellow color. Aromas of hops, fruit, and a little yeast. Has a light lemony taste, with some yeasty notes, and a good hop flavor.

In the glass the beer is a hazy orange color with a nice head. The aroma has some sweetness and sugar that come through. There is also some maltiness that shows up. Taste is smooth with bananas, apricots and then candied sugar. Roasted malts come through on the long finish.

Yup! from a bomber. Poured a hazy orange sunset. Frothy head. Stuck my nose in the glass and got kicked in the head with a boozy fruity boot. First taste is thick, tart cherry that gets balanced by the dryness of the nose. Fine fizz on the tongue. Long warm finish...."Wow, that beer is quite a mouthful!" she says.

22oz bottle on 25-Dec-2015, purchased at De Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Slightly hazy golden orange amber colour with a thick long lasting white head. Full to medium body and carbonation. Aroma of sweet fruit, pine, yeast, spices and malt. Flavour of fruit, sweet malt, hops and spices. Smooth. A pretty good West Coast tribute to a Belgian trippel.

This is looking good, cloudy dark orange, with a small firm head and sticky lacing that never goes away. Aroma is nothing potent and somewhat typical of a belgian, however the taste is even more fruity than I was expecting; there are tropical fruit flavors really pushing through, and the bitterness is more than expected, and more reminiscent of an IPA - which isn’t a bad thing to me. It goes down smoothly, dangerously so considering it is just a touch under 10%. This is tasty stuff, but maybe lacking a little bit of complexity that I was hoping for.

66cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Aged specimen. Hazy golden orange colour, creamy white head. Aroma of sweet malts, cookie dough, warm apple sauce, spicy yeast, some citrus, alcohol. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, apple sauce, yeast, light spicy, citrus, alcohol, fruity, bitter finish. Full bodied. Classic tripel imho, well done. Not overly sweet like so many American attempts to classic Belgian styles.

Very impressive American take on the Belgian style Abbey Trippel. It is a beer with the most wonderful texture which is a brilliant ode to it’s Belgian brother but with some fruity and fresh American hops to make it unique.

Tap at the brewery. Large tulip glass. Attractive looking beer with orange and copper emphasis. Full finger head with quick dissipation. Funky aroma with Belgian yeast taking over. Some banana and coriander/spices. Taste is also funky with an almost sour feeling. Good spice and effervescence. There is also fruit and yeast presence. Drinkable and good but it falls short of the Belgian greats. Even falls short of better American tripels.
