COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich pale malt flavors provide a solid base for zesty Styrian Golding and Czech Saaz hopping. Trappist ale yeast contributes the fruity, spicy profile of classic, monk-brewed, Belgian ales. Our Trippel is luscious, fiery, golden brew and a contemporary rendition of traditional Belgian Trippel.

Bomber. Nose sweet and golden with strong honey character, sugary with yeast and spice. Pour is a fiery golden with a dense rocky beige head. Full body with yeast and sugar, thick malt but no complexity there, very simple earthy hops, low ester and phenol development but still getting a good yeast contribution. Peach and faint berry. Sweet with light warmth, otherwise alcohol’s kept in check; very low bitterness, no tang. Lightly crisp feel, might be more refreshing if it were thinner, but as it is, stands to be better as something firm enough to stand up to food.

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2014 Bomber: pours golden orange and a little cloudy with a moderate fluffy white head. smells malty with some spice. tastes a bit malty and nutty with a malt and bubble gum finish. bubble gum being the very last flavor. I’ve had better Trippels, but this one will do for sitting at home.

Pour a hazy light orange/tan. Voluminous white head with aroma of belgian yeast, hay, and slight hints of alcohol and spicy fruit. Taste is balanced with a medium sweetness, low duration, and low level of complexity. Not the best trippel but still a delicious beer.

Pours amber with a white head (crazy) . Aroma of fruity belgian esters, sweet belgian "candy" as I like to call it. Also some mandarin, sweet spices and ripe fruits. Taste also has alot of those sweet fruity belgian yeast esters along with some weak hops, spicy notes and sweeter caramel. Decent!

bomber pour to tulip left a medium orange amber color with a creamy white head..decent carbonation rising from sides..aroma is full of honey..citrus..apricot banana..mouthfeel is a slight letdown because there just doesn’t seem to be that complexity of flavor expected from nose..does hide the abv well..light-medium bodied..coats mouth with good spice character..clove..ok..crisp spiciness abounds..

Bottle at home. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, bubbly and frothy white head, short retention that recedes mostly to the edge, and faint spotty lacing. Aroma is medium Belgian candi sugar, light pear fruity esters, light spicy and earthy hops, some pineapple notes, medium-light biscuit and Pils malt, no DMS or diacetyl. Flavor is spicy and peppery, nearly fusel alcohol, medium pear and pineapple esters with a faint tartness, light black pepper notes and spiciness, light earthy and spicy hops and light-medium bitterness, supporting crisp Pils and biscuit malt with a dry finish. Medium-full body, medium-high carbonation, and medium alcohol warmth.

Pours a golden orange with a fluffy white head. Hop, yeast, citrus, alcohol, spice and malt aroma. Hop, spice, citrus, alcohol, yeast, malt, clove and biscuit flavors. Sweet taste with a medium body and carbonation. Very hoppy for a trippel. Hop, citrus and alcohol finish.
