Commercial Description:
Rich pale malt flavors provide a solid base for zesty Styrian Golding and Czech Saaz hopping. Trappist ale yeast contributes the fruity, spicy profile of classic, monk-brewed, Belgian ales. Our Trippel is luscious, fiery, golden brew and a contemporary rendition of traditional Belgian Trippel.

I think they were a little over-zealous in considering this in the style of a tripel. Pours a cloudy translucent amber with a very thin white head with minimal lacing. Orange and cloves are definitely noticeable in the aroma and in the taste. The carbonation is just right and this beer is very easy to drink.

Sample @ brewery. It’s a pretty run-of-the-mill tripel, solid yet unspectacular. I don’t think I could add anything to the discussion here.

Golden and nothing enticing. Very sweet. Too tart for its own good. A Belgian ale without the complexity. Still OK.

Not that great for a tripel. Fairly drinkable, but too bland and alcoholic. Lots of wheat, biscuit, and yeast flavor. Overall too mild. It needs some more spices to be a good beer. The finish is dry with alcohol present. Not the most drinkable tripel.

Pours a clear golden color with a frothy white head. Lacing is very nice. Aroma is funky. Tastes of spice and Belgian yeast dominate the palate. Finishes with a spicy warming alcohol feeling.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a clear dark golden/light amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is fruity, citrus, Belgian yeast, hay, and a spicy edge. The flavor is again fruity and citrusy. I also get a honey bread sensation with this. No alcohol to speak of which at 8.5% could be problematic. Medium bodied. Decent.

Light golden colored beer with a slight off white head. Decently strong aroma of citrus and hops. Floral flavor with a finish of honey and bitterness. Slight carbonation throughout.

Bottle. Cloudy orangey-yellow with a thin, white head. Nice yeasty aroma of baked goods, with hints of citrus fruits and sweet spices. Very sweet taste, of light hops and malt, and a bit of an alcohol bite. Very pleasant and tasty.
