Commercial Description:
Rich pale malt flavors provide a solid base for zesty Styrian Golding and Czech Saaz hopping. Trappist ale yeast contributes the fruity, spicy profile of classic, monk-brewed, Belgian ales. Our Trippel is luscious, fiery, golden brew and a contemporary rendition of traditional Belgian Trippel.

Hazey golden appearance, decent head formation, fine carbonation. Fruity apple, winey, mild vinegarry nose. Crisp fruity palate, warming alcohol, sweet sugar, very slight spice but bery little complexity. Fits into the style buta big let down given the quality of the 2nd anniversary.

Pours the color of honey with a generous bright white head. Aroma is bubble gum, spices and maybe a hint of mint. Flavor starts with a little banana and mint leaf followed by a peppery spicyness and a dry finish with more banana. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation. May be true to style, but Tripels ain’t my thing.

Bottle ala SecretSanta (FM). Dark golden hazed liquid. Taller light cream colored head. Raisin and herbal hops aromas. Other ripe fruits also creep in, with cherries and bananas. LIghtly toasted malt in the background. Most likely a 6.5 in aroma, but I will round up. French toast covered with vanilla whipped cream, mild pine, sweet herbs with plums and nectarines. Seems to get more simple as it warms and just gets sweet and has a more noticeable alcohol bite and mild flame. Again a 6.5, but I’ll round down. Soft and full in feel. Simple and somewhat unassuming.

Tap @ Toronado. An orange and amber color. A nice citrus, sweet, light grape, maple and candy sugar bubblegum aroma and flavor. Notes of the yeast and cloves add to the triple style.

An orange beer with an orange head. The aroma is very hoppy and grassy, and also has notes of yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of yeast and light notes of coriander. I is weird how hoppy the aroma is - both for the style and compared to the flavor.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, tupalev & jerc - courtesy of blankboy. Light golden-orange with a fluffy head. Aroma of banana, clove, marshmellow and herbs. Soft mouthfeel, very nice. Flavour is like a ramped up wheat beer - banana, bubblegum & spice with some booze coming up behind. Decent, but the alcohol heat detracts from it somewhat.

Poured a dark golden color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of orange peel, coriander, honey, citrus fruits, bublegum, some banana, and spicy yeast. Taste of citrus fruits, light spices, more honey, orange peel, yeast, and a fair amount of alcohol in the finish.
