3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2014 Aroma is citrus, floral and vaguely boozy. Flavor is bigger includes citrus, pine, resin, tea and pear. Malt back is barely there but fits just fine. All in all I prefer this to the original single and find it worthy of its roots.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Creamy head. Clear warm orange amber body.
Aromas of hop, exotic fruit, some resin, flowers and hints of cream, malts and yeast.
Flavour is more harsher hopped and less fruity and subtle hop tones. Pretty strong resin, some malts and alcohol, herbal tones and bitters.
Aftertaste is bitter, herbal, green, some grassy hop and grass...
Low carbo, creamy oily mouthfeel, bit more than medium bodied.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Stone in Asagaya. Cloudy copper with a nice pillowy off-white head. Big aromas of orange marmalade, grapefruit and mikan. Taste is more of the same with some pine and dankiness that comes out as well. Sticky and sweet on the palate (marmalade is probably the best descriptor). Very good, but a little too sweet. Solid example of a San Diego IPA.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Wow! Once we opened the bottle, the hops ( all of them and at the same time) jumped out and the aroma quickly brought us back to our weed smoking friends’ apartment. It made our nose hairs wiggle too. So after cherishing the memories, and telling of a few stories of our past, We dived into tasting the brew. Nice deep caramel color and an average head, we found this beer absolutely wonderful. Although we found that the beer is very filling, it could complement a serious cheeseburger. Also , the hotter day it is, the better it will drink.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12is bottle from Plumpjack. Flawless appearance - brilliant clear golden copper color with a lady, lasting white head. Very citrusy aroma with a touch of pine resin. Grapefruit and tangerine. The flavor is a good mix of dry grapefruit rind and sweet malt. Medium body, a little syrupy, with average carbonation. Different from the old version but really nice!

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Cloudy orange amber coloured with a white creamy head. It has a sharp bitter grapefruit and orange marmalade flavour, a rich malty and burnt toffee body followed by pine and more grapefruit on the creamy zesty finish. Excellent!
