This West Coast-Style India Pale Ale is extravagantly hopped, full flavored, medium bodied and copper colored. A menagerie of hops is combined throughout the brewing process to impart specific characteristics. Hops used include Simcoe for a unique fruitiness and grapefruit zest, Columbus for strong hop pungency, Centennial for pine and citrus notes, and Cascade for floral aroma.

Cloudy copper in color with a foamy off-white head. The nose shows off citric and herbal hops. In the mouth it is medium-bodied and dry with a lot of bitterness through the midpalate and finish. Quite tart and refreshing this would be perfect for a summer barbeque as the bitterness calls for fatty food.

Bottle courtesy of Hogtownharry: Poured a deep cloudy copper color ale with a good size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of bitter and citrus hops is dominating with a nice malt base also noticeable. Taste is a mix between some citrus and bitter pacific hops with a neutral but still perceptible malt base. Full body with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. While this is a very enjoyable IPA, I would have enjoyed it a bit more if the presence of floral and grapefruit hops would have been more discernable.

12 oz bottle. Pours a golden orange, low clarity, with 3 cm of off white foamy head that is slowly diminishing. Aroma is mostly citrus with floral notes. Initial flavor is piney and citrusy hops, not much else though. More citrus in the finish, dry aftertaste. Light carbonation, light to medium body, lots of lacing, and a hint of alcohol appreciated. Drinkable but you better love nothing but hops, solid IPA.

Bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville. Hazy orange-amber with a 1 finger head. Big citrus hop aroma. Big hoppy taste with caramel notes. Thick feel.

Bottle pours copper color with off white head. Has a nice floral aroma with some grapefruit added. Mouthfeel is medium with a fair amount of carbonation. Taste is very hoppy and grapefruit like. Almost grassy. This is a very nice IPA.

Fantastic hoppy beer. A benchmark of an american ipa where everything seems to be just in place for the hops to flow freely out your ears.

Aroma is very hoppy, with piney and citrusy notes rising up. There is a sense of some other additives with grapefruit and also making an appearance. Itís a orange-copper color, with a thin white head. Itís flavor is powerful, with complex hops ranging from pine to citrus. It has a dash of grapefruit as well. Itís a real nice beer, but a bit too much for session drinking.

Pours hazy amber, cream color 1" head, lots of lacing. Aroma is very piney, resinous, powerful. Taste is big grapefruit hop flavor with hard to find malts. If you enjoy lots of hops this is for you. Would have enjoyed some more malt presence.

Wonderful piney hop aroma. Pours a clear caramel color with just a dusting of white head. The taste is extraordinary. Great bitterness, with hints of citrus pith and pine. Just a touch of caramel lurking behind the hops. Nice thick mouthfeel. This is one I was really looking forward to trying, and it lived up to expectations.

Pours hazy amber with a thick off-white head. Obnoxious hop aroma, citrus and floral. Strong hoppy flavor, lots of pine and a decent amount of bitterness. A balancing malt flavor appears as it warms. I usually dont comment on this but this beer has ridiculous lacing. Good IPA.
