Commercial Description:
This West Coast-Style India Pale Ale is extravagantly hopped, full flavored, medium bodied and copper colored. A menagerie of hops is combined throughout the brewing process to impart specific characteristics. Hops used include Simcoe for a unique fruitiness and grapefruit zest, Columbus for strong hop pungency, Centennial for pine and citrus notes, and Cascade for floral aroma.

12 oz. bottles from a case purchased at Bella Vista Distributors in Philadelphia; also on tap regularly at The Drafting Room in Spring House, PA. Nearly overwhelming floral scent of hops, followed a the strongest fresh hop flavor I’ve had in a beer. I don’t know what they’re doing at Green Flash to produce the distinctive flavor of this beer, but it’s been my favorite IPA for awhile now.

Bottle. Amber with an off white 1 finger head. I dont know about you but i dont smell a beer here, i feel like i should hide this one from the cops. Very herbal and grassy. Light citrus and dark caramel. Light hop resin and a bit dusty. 3.9 HOLY CRAP, i just had this on cask at Rattle N Hum, this was freaking phenomenal don’t know what i was talking about in my previous review but DAMMIT, i want to go back today just for another pint of this hop oasis. Delicious pine, citrus, grapefruit, and hop resins. This is a godsend! 4.5

12oz bottle. Very floral, citrusy nose to this one. Pours a lovely amber with decent, thin head. Not overly carbonated. Very balanced grapefruit taste well integrated with a chewy malt backing. Lingers well. Very pleasing.

Finally, an IPA that I can get my tastebuds around! I’ve tried so many lately, and most of them have failed miserably to satisify my needs for hops. This offering definitely delivers the hops. This IPA pours a bright copper color with a sticky off-white head. The aroma is full of floral notes, along with a orange, grapefruit and pine. The flavors and body make this IPA very drinkable and enjoyable. The flavors were very well-rounded and balanced, with notes dry and floral hoppy notes, along with a big punch of pine and grapefruit. The finish is extremely dry, hoppy and spicy. This is an amazing IPA!

Bottle from Wachi, Kyoto. Hazy amber with a medium off-white head. Solid citrussy hop aroma. Very bitter citrus hop flavours. A great example of a West Coast IPA.

So many beers owe a debt to Vinnie the the father of super hopped beers this is an excellent example and Vinnie would be proud. Over the top aroma, great taste and super hopped. Damn good.
